It needed saying even if Reuters tries to justify their contemptible "reporting" even as they write this.

You just reminded me, Clinton at the time of the 2000 campaign was going around saying things about GWB and his "daddy", and I think it was at the convention the elder Bush said along the lines "If he keeps it up I might just say a few things I've kept to myself" and the media went into CONNIPTIONS railing on about how no former president had ever spoken ill of a sitting president and on and on.

It was outrageouly ridiculous on its face since the provocation was coming from a sitting president (God help us) mocking a former president. And the press clymers didn't even get that.

I won't even mention (well, yes I will after all) Carter and then the subsequent Clinton comments we've heard all through GWB's presidency.

Really, some in the media are so stupidly evil.

Would bet when Babs does her 'bad cop' routine it is a sight to behold. Would't care to be on the receiving end.

Both of them have shown remarkable restraint, at least in public, over the attacks on their son. Don't think I could do it.
