Is it me or is FR running slow today?

It seems to be hiccuping a little.
I've hit post and had nothing happen.
No double posts yet, but so far I've had to hit post 3 times.
Even after checking the "I've already previewed my horrible typing skills and don't care" box.
Could be server traffic, or net traffic between us and the main server, or the routers between us and the server are clogged.

Probably net traffic... although Air America is so boring how can anyone have strength to type about it?

My cable modem was down for at least a half hour... what a horror :-)

Our DSL was down for awhile the other day while they messed with the lines.
Cable modems go down whenever there's a nearby lightning storm around my immediate area.
*sigh*
It was a hoot to hear the cable company's response when asked about cable modems: "Cable internet connection? You can do that?"

Afterwards, they said that they weren't going to offer the service as they didn't see a need for it here.
That is, until they took a look at what their competitors were making by offering DSL.
