I work with a lot of Jewish people and have been carefully and quietly planting seeds of distrust regarding the RATs and the weakness on defense and Israel.

The Democrats want to re-inject the United States into the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a neutral arbiter and neutral voice. No, actually, they want the US to take the side of the PLO. They figure that because they hate Bush and because the Islamists hate Bush, they are both on the same side.

"waffling on the controversial security fence"
waffle? John Kerry? Say it ain't so!
To: samtheman
making the case that the Dems will undercut Israel is quite easy. the problem is, most americans Jews could care less about Israel. still, any improvement Bush can muster over that 19% in 2000 will help, especially in Florida.

I do hope that EVERYONE wakes up to the fact that anti-semitism is at its worst these days within the socialist left in this country. They may use all types of euphemisms and denial tactics, but they are some of the biggest bigots, outside of the leftists in Europe.

No, actually, they want the US to take the side of the PLO. They figure that because they hate Bush and because the Islamists hate Bush, they are both on the same side. EXACTLY! This is why I can't understand why Jewish people vote heavily for the RAT party. DemocRATS are no friend to Israel.

What Santorum should have said to the Jewish Group:
"Both we and the democrats will say what you want you to hear about our stance on Israel. But what you really have to worry about is what the democrats are saying to the Muslim lobbyist groups."

Senate Democrats are seeking to counter defections by some major Jewish donors to the Republicans by stressing their party's pro-Israel stance. What are they smoking?

What a shame people's votes are made because of a perceived benefit to a foreign country, and not solely on what is good for this country.
That's probably the difference between a Jewish American and an American Jew. -Tom

From the article --- "Kerry seemed to trip over the issue a month ago when he told Jewish leaders the fence was a legitimate act of self defense after telling an Arab American group in October that the fence was provocative and a barrier to peace. Golly, another Kerry flip-flop!
Au contraire, Corzine (D-Idiot), some of the Jewish groups are paying attention to who supports Israel and who doesn't!

yeah the dems have been on their side all along..right...My brother in law who is a jew said it comes down to this..Jews have historically voted for the party that they believe would protect them when things get tough...Only now are they realizing who their true friends are...He's a lib but is coming full circle. Its happening..
To: teletech
EXACTLY! This is why I can't understand why Jewish people vote heavily for the RAT party. DemocRATS are no friend to Israel. But this is why more Jews are going Republcan. They understand the connection between terrorism/AlQaeda and Iraq and terrorism/in Israel. That's the unsaid linkage in the article. When a Dem says we shouldn't have invaded Iraq, then that Dem stands in favor of Saddaam giving money to Hamas bombers. Jews understand that.
To: veronica
"there is a perception among many Jews that Democrats are not strong enough on the issue of Israeli security."
A lot of us were quite struck that he would say that, said a high-ranking [Democrat] official with the group."
Yes, after all, we've been pretending to care about Jews since Hitler broke that pact since Stalin. That should count for something darnit!
And we worked damn hard to convince everyone that Mel Gibson was the real threat to Jews everywhere, so that no one would notice that so many of our protesters carry signs saying "Bomb Israel" and "Palestine yes, Israel no". That was a very expensive media campaign. We expect more return for our money dangit! We spent practically every dime Jews sent us last year on that campaign!
