According to Teresa, the next morning she went to Mass with a group,including Kerry.
The Mass was conducted in Portuguese.
Teresa believed that Kerry was also fluent in Portuguese, as he appeared to be making the responses and singing in Portuguese.
It wasn't until later that she was made aware that Kerry did not speak Portuguese and was just mouthing gibberish trying to impress her.
