False. Let's say, for the sake of argument, that we launched a Boomer-sub's worth of nuclear ordnance on the Muslim world. Each sub contains 20 SLBM's containing 8 MIRVs with a payload of 333 kilotons each. That's 160 nuclear warheads with a total payload of around 53 megatons -- enough to do the job.
The Soviets, as you may or may not know, detonated a single 50+ megaton nuclear device in the 1950's on their own soil. No doubt the critters in the immediate area were a bit bummed, but we all survived it. .....including everyone in the USSR. And how about the nuclear tests we ourselves conducted in the Bikini Islands (South Pacific)? A 10 megaton device here, a 15 megaton device there, and aside from some native islanders and a few unsuspecting folks on a Japanese fishing vessel who drifted too close to the action, there were no human casualties.
Even we we unleashed the full ordnance from two Boomers on the Muslim world - 320 warheads, over 100 total megatons - I highly doubt we here in the U.S. would be affected by the fallout.
By the way..say goodbye to Israel, wiped off the face of the Earth by US nuclear bombs.
Indonesia is nukeless, so they couldn't retaliate. Pakistan has nukes, but A) they'd all be destroyed in our initial attack, and B) they only have medium-range missiles (whose range is not intercontinental) even if some of them survived. China would probably be somewhat affected by the fallout (although much of it would be dissipated by the time it reached their major population centers), but they wouldn't retaliate against us for two reasons: 1) they'd be just as happy to see the Muslim world destroyed as we would be, and 2) if they shot off ICBMs at us they'd be wiped clean off the face of the earth, and they're smart enough to know it know it. Unlike the (majority of the) Muslim world, China isn't in the suicide business.
or how the fallout would not affect the rest of us.
I already did so in my last post.

Ah, finally you bring up a decent point. Considering the west to east wind patterns, Israel would most likely be in the fallout zone if we detonated a huge # of nukes in (Muslim) North Africa. But, aside from Egypt, the annihilation of sparsely populated No. Africa would require very nukes. ......not enough to seriously threaten Israel with fallout. We'd have to be careful with Egypt, though. ....it's a little too close (to Israel) for comfort (although the fallout from there would more likely affect their neighbors to the immediate east on the Arabian Peninsula, who would obviously be destroyed anyway). So Israel would be fine if we're careful.
Understand that the nuclear fallout from 200 - 300 nukes directed at the Muslim world is nothing compared to the horror stories we all heard during the Cold War about what would happen if the U.S. and Soviet Union got into an all-out nuclear exhange. We could all survive the former without much of a problem, where the latter (invovling literally thousands of times more ordnance) would likely create the "nuclear winter" conditions Carl Sagan and Co. all warned us about a few decades ago.
....So don't worry yourself ;)
Oh btw, just in case you're wondering, I'm not advocating this course of action against the Muslim world. ......yet, anyway.
Obviously, viewing "The Passion" failed to teach you ANY humility.
And that's a pity Luis. You've got great debating skills, if you would only choose to use them properly. As it is, your replies fail to be convincing, even when the facts of the argument are on your side.
Interesting how you missed this part of my post #66: "Oh btw, just in case you're wondering, I'm not advocating this course of action against the Muslim world."
The point of my post, which (unsurprisingly) seems to be lost on you, was to correct your ignorant assertion that destroying the Muslim world with nukes would "kill us all." Now brush up on your reading comprehension skills and get back to me in a few weeks.
