"My friends, we are called to restore a government of the people instead of a tool of the privileged".......

Most people outside of MA don't know that John Kerry lives in the most exclusive Boston neighborhood of Beacon Hill. Well it just so happened that an annoying fire hydrant was located in front of Mr. Kerry's residence. You know that one cannot park beside a fire hydrant?

This annoyed John Kerry
so he had the city move the fire hydrant down the road in front of his neighbor's house.

Can you believe that? This is a TRUE STORY!!!!
Now Mr. Kerry, a few questions:
Wasn't that an act of a privileged man?
Weren't you using government as "a tool of the privileged"?
I sure wish this story would develop wings and escape our State! That the world would know the person of great privilege who has developed all the campaign jargon and started using all this mumbo-jumbo populist rhetoric.

We see jobs to be created.
And YOU voted to send them away.

We see families to house.
And YOU raised their taxes

We see violence to stop.
And YOU oppose self-defense by being a gun grabber.

We see children to teach -- and children to care for.
And YOU interfere in teaching with big government.

We see too many people hungry in a country where food is abundantand
Then feed them with your gazillions of dollars you have.

too many working families living in shelters,

YOU sent their jobs away.

when a living wage should provide them with a place to live.

And YOU sent their jobs away.

We look at what is happening in America today and we say: "Where are the deeds?"

I don't know John. Where are YOUR deeds. What the hell have you to show for your 20 years in the senate? Jack $hit, that's what.

We are told that, after 3 million lost jobs and so many lost hopes,

While YOU were in the senate.

aren't standing on the corners across this state where closed factories speak the loss of 42,000 manufacturing jobs in Missouri in the past 3 years.

WHILE YOU WERE IN THE SENATE

My brothers and sisters, our present national leadership may be taking us around a corner, but it is a corner that leads to a dead end road paved with broken promises.

And you are national leadership Johnny.

Well, I'm here to say that if we stand together we can set a new direction for America.
What will be different than your 20 years of crappy voting, Sandinista backing, gun grabbing, tax raising, aborting, and freedom grabbing.

It was just 50 years ago that a little girl called Linda Brown had to walk a mile through a railroad yard everyday just to catch a bus to her segregated elementary school.
Johnny, have your kids gone to multiracial schools?

In too many ways our school systems are still separate and unequal. Our society still falls short of our ideals.

WTF would you know about public schools, Johnny.

My friends, we are called to restore a government of the people instead of a tool of the privileged.

Which is why I'm not voting for your rich elitist arrogant sorry ass.

liberty

You hate liberty, Johnny. You proved that with your gun grabs and vote for the Patriot Act, so STFU.

industrialized nation on the planet which doesnt understand that healthcare is a right and not a privilege.

I don't want 'free healthcare'. It costs too much money.

This is our time to break down division, not build it up.

While you live in Beacon Hill.

It's time to reject the politics of falseness

You prove falseness every time you open your damn trap.

and fear calculated to divide black from white

As YOU PEOPLE did during 2000 with your buddy Jesse Jackson, the NAA(Communist)P, and those James Byrd ads.

rich from poor

And where do you live? Beacon Hill, riiight.

neighborhood from neighborhood, region from region.

I've seen the crap from you flatlanders for years. You people are trying to fool us. Well, I'll make sure your sorry record is known, from Niles to Sault Ste Marie, and from Monroe to Ironwood.

This is our time to start building up America again.

You had 20 years. You failed cause you suck.

"I think there is a rule that you're not suppose to campaign in a church....but then Dems not believe in rules."

The political Dems don't believe in Church either. . .

BTW; when Dean was doing the political circuit; they was 'concern' that his wife was not out there with him. . .showing solidarity. . .wifely support et al.

Have they put a bag over Therera's head or what. Perhaps saving her accented voice for later?

Beyond that, the level of arrogance in a room where they both are present and speaking, must be palpable and painful.

I'm not trying to turn a Kerry stump speech at a Baptist Church into a religous war at all. From your statement it seems you understand the rules. This particular church ignored those rules.

I highlighted the fact that, yes, it was a Baptist Church because it was!

My mistake....I thought you were generalizing all Baptists, no harm done...I agree that they ignored the rules and common sense...

Mr Kerry, I think that you finally have it right, we need to 'restore a government of the people instead of a tool of the privileged', and Lord knows how well you have used that tool. You, as a privileged person, may quote scripture to facilitate your ambitions, but I would certainly wish to be a 'fly on the wall' at the pearly gates when your sorry carcass is condemned to a fiery hereafter for the sins that you have committed.

BTW, did you also, illegitimately, take communion in this church as you did last week?

"Obesity is a big problem among lower class people because they don't know much about nutrition and eat gobs of sweet and fatty foods"

There is also the problem of "healthy" food being more expensive than junk food.

OK, now I've read the IRS rule regarding this (and I wish to God they'd put this crap in plain English). My understanding is that it is not illegal for him to do this. It is not illegal for the church to pay him to speak. If he was not paid, this rule does NOT apply AT ALL to the church's tax exempt status. If they did pay him, all they have to do is pay taxes on the amount he was paid. As long as they pay the tax, their tax status is still not affected.
The only way the church would lose their tax exempt status if if they paid him and did not report and pay taxes on that amount.
As I said, this is my understanding. I could be wrong.

The scriptures tell us that there is "a time to break down and a time to build up."

Scipture also says, "A time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace". Ecclesiastes 3:8

And scipture also says, "The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left". Ecclesiastes 10:2
