What does John Wilkes Kerry know about assassinations? Oh, yeah....I forgot about that meeting in Kansas City in 1971.

How is it character assassination to show that when Dick Clarke was drawing a paycheck from the White House, he was saying something pretty much entirely opposite from what he's saying now? How is it assassinating Dick Clarke's character, in other words, to introduce credible evidence that Dick doesn't have any?

Recalling a Democrat's voting record during a political race is "negative campaigning."
Recalling the undisputed words of Richard Clarke in the past is "character assassination."

What gets me is that the left had to know Clarke was on record with tons of statements contrary to what ended up in his book. Why would they tie their future to a strategy with such a weak foundation? They usually avoid doing that to such a degree. Is it desperation?

Why is Kerry's finding fault with every thing Bush does, still treated like breaking news. It's same old, same old.
Regardless of what Kerry, his abetting media and the truth deficient DNC is trying to peddle, the truth is that tricky Dick Clarke's character is not being assinated! It is clearly committing harry Kerry.

And assassination target Sen. John Stennis was shot shortly afterwards.Wow. One of the very few things that Kerry can point to that shows he can get things done but for some reason he doesn't point this out.

In the top of the News, Senator John Stennis underwent a lengthy operation at Walter Reed Army Medical Center after he was shot during a hold up in front of his Washington home today.
The surgery was for the removal of two bullets, one from the Senators chest, and one from his left leg.
Stennis, who entered the Senate in 1947, is Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
Police spokesman say the 71 year-old Mississippi Democrat was shot as he stepped from his car in front of his home.

What about the character assasination of the military personel serving in Vietnam.
If anyone knows about character assasination it is Kerry.

John Kerry said Saturday the White House is committing character assassination One must have a character to assassinate for this to happen, and both Clarke and Kerry are wanting in that dept.

Exactly. How can Kerry accuse the WH of character assassination when Clarke killed himself?

Of course if it were (shudder) President Gore's administration , the cries of Executive priviledge and
Presidential immunity would be echoing across the air waves!
