Here is a thought. If Clarke was the one who gave Novak that information about Valerie Plame, wouldn't it make sense that he also ranted to Novak about how Clarke consideredd her a lightweight?

That's a possibility.....Clarke definitely is full of himself/power. IMO he is a dangerous man. Doesn't even need the CL contact to be scary. Wonder what his FBI file looks like?

I just watched "The Heartland" with John Kasich on FNC. His guest (obviously a Democrat---didn't get his name as I was listening more than watching) said, gleefully IMO, that the Clarke thing wasn't touching Kerry and polls were showing it IS hurting President Bush. If that isn't political use of the "fact-finding" Commission on Terrorism, I don't know what is.
