I agree with you. Many conservatives reject the notion of a "gay gene", but it's really nothing more than what you've said; a manefestation of original sin.

Some are naturally greedy, but stealing is still wrong. Some are naturally ill-tempered, but murder is still wrong.

Being born with the problem isn't a license to practice your pet vice.

"they feel the NEED for their sexuality to be "born" into them so they can use the same defense/excuses as the disabled, or racial minorities"

That pretty much nails it. You can't base minority status on a chosen behavior, or knuckle-crackers and comb-overs would be minorities, too.

Nymphomania almost certainly has a genetic component

Really? Where are your facts to back it up

Sexual appetite can be affected by hormones, which can in turn affected by a variety of genetic and congenital factors.

My point, though, is that even if genes would cause one person to have a greater sexual appetite than another, that does not mean that people with unusually voracious sexual appetites receive, as a consequence of that appetite, the right to do whatever it takes to satisfy it.

I found that Kerry has even flip-flopped on this issue! Here's something I posted in another thread:

I think he flip-flops right here:
"I think it's entirely who you are from birth, personally," Kerry said in an interview to be telecast on MTV.

"Some people might choose, but I think that it's, it's who you are . . . People need to be able to be who they are."

So... which is it? Entirely from birth, or is it a choice? Yeesh!

Father, forgive me for saying it, but I think this man's retarded.

I didn't even catch *that* flip-flop. Nice work!
