This story reminds me of an old Andy Griffith Show episode.

Barney Fife had an illegal hotplate in his room and was busted by his landlady, Mrs. Mendlebright.

She kicked him out after he was caught cooking up a can of chili con carne.

Even Barney was smart enough to keep his revolver unloaded and his one alloted bullet safely buttoned up in his shirt pocket.

Fortunately, Andy was able to broker a deal and Barney was allowed to return to his room on the condition that there would be no more cooking.

How hot does a primer have to get before it cooks off?

The story seems kind of "fishy" to me.

Oh, I think the 400 degrees required to properly cook fish sticks will definitely get a reaction.
