Americans have become very trusting in vaccines. Not only do we give the MMR and DPT but Chicken Pox, flu and Hep B. A mistake in one of these could mean a lifetime of suffering for a child, with the parent's blessing. OH the guilt! Any mom would die to know that something we have gotten for our kids to protect them, actually harmed them. I'm just very thankful that my girls shots are almost over and there have been no side effects.

I seriously question vaccines. Some call me a tinfoil hat wearer but so be it. I know of two folks who had beautiful children and now they have autism :( The kids are still beautiful but you know what I mean.

I do know what you mean.
Just because they are "special" doesn't mean they are not beautiful.
My Homeschool Group had a chicken pox party last year! If I had been homeschooling at that time, I would have gone and forgotten about the shots.

Hi!
I hear you.
As you and I have discussed before, my daughter is mildly autistic. I have always wondered if there is anything to the notion that it was the vaccinations that caused it. I am NOT convinced that the immunizations have caused her condition.
It's not a good choice: risk the diseases and break the law, or follow the law and hope for the best.

You're right! It's not easy. I had Measles and Chicken Pox as a child. My hubby's mom had Rubella in the first months of pregnancy with him (no wonder he is that way, LOL)
We turned out ok.
But you get into the hard ones, Whooping Cough, Tetanus or Polio and it becomes not so much of a choice. It's really easy for those without Autistic children to dismiss the vaccine claims, but for those with Autistic children, the question will always be there.
Over and above that, the idea that all vaccines came from aborted fetus' makes me cringe. It took me time to rationalize that away.

I had chicken-pox as a kid, but never measels.
I got Caitlin the chicken-pox vaccine when she was 10, because she was starting to mature. We have one more shot to go.
Is that really true? ALL vaccinations are made from aborted fetuses? I'm not trying to argue with you: I really want to know!
Polio and small pox vaxines have been around for a LONG time... long before the abortion-mill industry. and I KNOW small pox vaccine origionally came from cows!

You may be right on target about the Chicken Pox vaccine! "All" was a poor choice of words.
But check out this site....

Well. Gosh.
What DOES one say?
Thank you for showing me.
I sometimes think there really is nothing clean or untainted in this world.
