Remember, these people were used to being spoonfed by the Clinton administration. Each were given 'scoops' by Clinton, private interviews, etc. to schmooze them.

They are used to spewing absolute lies to cover the previous admin. and never had to do any research for themselves.

Now, they find it easy to play along, ignoring any research again, because President Bush doesn't cater to them like Billy did.

I've decided no more Molly Ivins. I was attempting to show how partisan our paper really is.

Just the phrase "I'm an optimist" is enough to make one hurl. I've never read an optmistic Molly Ivins article. In her world the U.S. is an awful country that has a tiny percentage of super-rich autocrats who run things and a huge population of oppressed, starving peons who live terrible lives. More so for "women and minorities". The only thing that would make Molly happy is for America to renounce capitalism and embrace all the failed socialist policies of the ex-Soviet Union. Her hatred of George Bush and all Republicans occupies 95% of all her columns. If she has a disease, that is her disease: an all-consuming hatred for everything that makes this country great.
