And we could then tell Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf states to suck it since Mexico is sitting on more oil and natural gas than we could consume in the next century.

Think of the jobs that would open up if the resources were developed correctly!

Americans would be invading Mexico, there would be so much work...

Exactly. If their socialist, corrupt government was more like our socialist, corrupt government (lol), we'd have LOTS of American workers and businesses in Mexico.

But we aren't allowed to even own property there.

We already buy as much oil from them as we do Saudi Arabia.

Then all those illegal aliens can work in their OWN McDonald's and hotels, etc. OWNED by other Mexican's and create themselves a viable economy.

Then they'll have to deal with more illegal immigrants crossing THEIR southern border (they are very harsh protecting it today).

J. Get tough with Mexico. The mass immigration is prompted by Mexican Politics that will not face economic reform in their own nation and use the United States as an outlet. NAFTA was created in 1993 to largely help the Mexican economy. The Government of Mexico taxes businesses to excess which kills job growth. In over ten years the economy south of the Border has grown by only 1.2 per cent.

BUMP

Well I agree your plan will work. But the CONSERVATIVE candidate has just announced a quasi-amnesty! Back in the real world the Mexicans have already achieved so much political clout that no politician will take them on. The choices we have are "give them everthing now" or "give them everything soon". As I don't see the will to fight the invasion ANYWHERE I conclude that the border states are lost and will be overrun and eventually the USA-Azatlan conversion will take place there. I sure don't like it, but I don't see anyone stopping it.

But the CONSERVATIVE candidate has just announced a quasi-amnesty!

And it is little wonder we are now, less than 90 days later, seeing the effects of that announcment. CARAVANS of illegals comming across, over THREE HUNDRED illegals in one alone.

It is not that no one is willing to go to the border to stop this insanity. Our own government has law enforcement arresting the AMERICANS that try to stop it and are promising BILLIONS in free goodies to the illegals!

The way I read all this is in order to attempt to protect the border, an org is first going to have to stop the local LEA's first! This means the org's will have to grow to the point that they can link up from state to state to enforce the border.

39-"Actually, I think (and I'm serious) that we should warn Vicente Fox and give him a list of requirements on his part OR be invaded. It would only take half of the 101st Airborne or less to topple their corrupt government"

Better sit down Batman -

I think this is a great idea.

I agree with you.

Bush needs to read Fox the riot act, and give him the 'Come to Jesus or else' speach.

Actually, I been wonderin' since GB graced Bowers Museum in these parts whether his "advisers" brisked him down the freeway to his next appointed stop in Dana Point or gave him a tour of our hell-town central. It's the difference between a left turn and a right.
