Jim,
I have been a member since the first round of Clinton insanity grabbed the reins of power in this country. While the erosion of constitutional protections has been a sad fact since the day they were adopted, that process was greatly accelerated in the Clinton years and continues to this day. The America which existed in those days is history now and has been replaced by an evil regime no one would ever have conceived of back at the turn of the century. This raises concerns for me.

The data collection and storage capabilities of the Federal Government seems to know no bounds. Today's computer technology is able to keep building massive personal profiles on every person who is alive today, effectively making personal privacy a thing of the past. Super computer programs have the ability to sort through all of this data at light speed creating detailed histories on whomever they are targeting at the moment.

While I love participating in the daily debates, it appears that the discussions are becoming more inflammatory as we helplessly watch our personal freedoms disappear. One has to consider the government's ability to monitor individual entries on FR and the possibility they will be able to use them against contributors should Orwellian tyranny be further imposed on thoughts and statements judged to be non-PC in their efforts to silence dissent. It would be comforting to know if security procedures in place at FR are capable of preventing intrusions of this type now and going forth. Should we face a second round of Clinton insanity it is certain to be several magnitudes worse the the previous sitting. Thanks

I found your statement as I am going through registration.
May I say I think I have found the right site. You have very eloquently put to word what I have felt deep within my heart.
The future of my children and grand children hangs buy a delicate thread, a thread that has sewn our country together
for over 200 years. I pray that I will have the strength and patience to be a part of what is right.
Thank you for providing this resource at this crucial time.

Big Tech will never be able to touch Free Republic! This is my go to site for real conservative commentary and news aggregation.

I just wish I was better at HTML coding.
