I second what #301 posted: I know I have come to something special when a friend allows me into his home, introduces me to his friends, offers me a seat, and asks that I join in the exciting dialog that they are all sharing about a wide variety of ideas

All right I can't take it anymore. JR, the things you said at the start of this thread touched me through and through. You are a real American.

I have been mostly a lurker on this site, doing a few posts here and there. FR has gradually become my no. 1 site. I have learned a lot from you freepers. Smartest people in America post here.

I am conservative all the way, not even one of these what you call 'em neocons. If there is a better rallying point for true Americans in this great land of ours than FR I don't where it is. My Dad is an WW2 and Korean war vet. An Army tanker, trained under George Patton, 2nd Armored Division. I am a Navy vet.

I am throwing in with you freepers. Next time there is need for money to keep FR afloat count me in. Hey, do you freepers ever get together?
