Wouldn't the Bush camp already know of all this?

I would'nt doubt that the beast has a voo doo doll in her closet with John F'n Kerry's image on it.

She's not a supernaturalist, she's been taking real action to achive her goal.

Beau Dietl is an arsehole.

I saw him on Anus In The morning show once where he and the Anus whipped out their pistols and started acting like a couple of jerks play acting about killing someone on the show.

It was about the most aggregious lack of firearms safety I have ever saw.

So his chargin about Skerry Kerry rings hollow to me.

What's amazing is that some of the people who have challenged Kerry's account of this event have prefaced their comments with things like, "I support John Kerry. He's a friend of mine." It's not the Bush team that's inflicting the damage. So why would Democrats be doing this unless a more powerful Democrat behind the scenes was pulling some strings? Someone with access to damaging information on a lot of people, including Kerry and his "friends".

I thought I had read that he voted no and then shortly thereafter tried to disassociate himself from them.

To me, if he VOTED -- even though he voted no -- the fact that he sat there, listened, contemplated, and made a choice is about the end of him.

Of course, whether he voted or not, his failure to notify authorities speaks volumes about his character, morals, trustworthiness, and honesty.

"In your reading, did you discover whether Kerry actually voted no?"

As I recall Kerry bailed out of the meeting when they started talking about assassinations.

++++++

That might be the way Kerry and company try to spin this, but it isn't the way it was reported in Nicosia's book.

Nicosia ("Home To War") went into great detail about the showdown between Kerry and Hubbard which led to Kerry quiting the VVAW.

Nicosia (accidentally?) placed this showdown at the July St. Louis meeting, rather than the November KC meeting. He was wrong. This happened at the KC meeting.

(Nicosia HAD THE FBI TRANSCRIPTS, he should not have gotten something this basic wrong. It sure looks like he was trying to keep Kerry's name out of the KC meeting.)

Anyway, Nicosia describes Kerry as quiting because of his showdown with Hubbard. IOW, Kerry didn't quit over this vote. Pretty significant, if you ask me.

Are there any of those senators currently in office? I had not seen any listing of who those senators were.

I have a question - Kerry is now saying that he guesses he may have been at this meeting when he previously thought he was another (being why he supposedly denied being there at first) - if that's the case, it begs the question, HOW MANY MEETINGS HAS HANOI JOHN FRENCH KERRY BEEN TO DURING WHICH ASSASINATIONS WERE PLOTTED OR DISCUSSED, SUCH THAT HE COULDN'T REMEMBER WHICH OF SAID MEETINGS HE MIGHT HAVE BEEN TO ????.

Well, at least we now know why Kerry voted against funding the War...he was simply trying to keep from being murdered by protesters. LOL

Although, on it's face, this whole thing seems that it might have political legs, but in my State, it takes a bit more for one to satisfy the Criminal Conspiracy Statute. Two or more people need to communicate (plan) about the commission of a crime and then one or more needs to take a "substantial step" toward the commission of the conspired crime.

For fun, lets say that Kerry was present during such a planing meeting and he failed to immediately report this to Law Enforcement..... and then ANY one of the subjects took ANY "substantial step in toward the commission of the crime", but was unable to complete the act....Kerry is still toast as he remains part of the original conspiracy. I suppose that there could be laws that are specific as it pertains to talking about murdering a Senator. It would be wonderful if there was no statute of limitations on the threat to murder a Senator!

This will sure be fun to watch unfold.....I just hope that it's not B/S or Kerry could come out looking very good and picked on by us "crooked liars"!!! I can't help but think that Ashcroft is now healing from his recent surgery, in record time! LOL

But subsequent interviews have listed the Senators as southern, and including also Nunn. There have probably been others mentioned, but they have escaped my mind.

John Stennis is one:

The Phoenix Project, as I earlier related, was the brainchild of Scott Camil, who had found several volunteers for the mission to assassinate public figures who supported the war, including Senators John Tower, Strom Thurmond, and John Stennis. Camil brought the proposal to the 11/71 VVAW meeting for a vote, and VVAW leadership knew about it; they changed the meeting venue twice on the spur of the moment in a futile attempt to avoid being monitored by the FBI.

While it's true that John Kerry spoke against this plot and later resigned because of it, it's equally true that he warned no one about the existence of the plot or the plotters. What's false has been Kerry's story ever since, and for good reason -- someone who sits in league with putative assassins plotting their crimes and fails to notify authorities implicitly legitimizes the use of violence for political and electoral ends. It should be a disqualification for public office; I for one don't want a Senator who thought, during his political career (he ran for Congress in 1970), that such a debate was a legitimate political discussion.

Sam Nunn didn't become a Senator until 1973, so I don't think he was a target.

Strom Thrumond became a Republican in September of '64.

Stennis and Tower were both Republicans. So the three targets we know are all GOP.

Wonder if Scoop Jackson was on the list? Or any other Dem hawks?

If the VVAW was targeting Democrats, you think the Networks will take notice?

Why don't you learn the names of the senators?

Perhaps some might still be alive.

From my memory of the era, I would guess Senator John Stenis would have been on the list. He was widely detested by the left.
