LUCKY YOU. I know that the drive there was long, and the drive back was long, and the wait there was long. But I bet you were still energized by the time you got home because these events are amazing. Seeing the President, doing a counter protest FOR HIM, is awesome and you just want to tell everyone about the experience. You will go to work tomarrow, and that is all you will think about and want to talk about.

WE MUST ALL DO WHAT YOU DID TODAY. THIS NATION NEEDS US, THIS PRESIDENT NEEDS US AND OUR CHILDREN NEED US TO DO THIS. WE MUST BE THERE AND SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS OF PRESIDENT GW BUSH. Whether it be a yard sign, volunteering at your republican headquarters, blockwalking with info. WE must all do our part.

If you don't believe me, then go to democraticundergroud.com and see what WACKOS we are up against.

cheers, guido

Interesting tagline! You are absolutely right, and if everyone knew this they would take terrorism and the War on Terror much more seriously.

On Fox and Friends this morning there were no less than THREE people disputing Clark's "position" that the Bush Admin. was warned and could have prevented 9/11 (or whatever allegations he made--I didn't see the interview.)

First was Condi Rice, who basically said that if they had such a great plan why didn't they carry it out

Second was Monsoor Ijaz, who was personally there when Clark STOPPED several missions during the Clinton Admin. that were to get UBL. He was MMAAADDDD and you could tell.

Third was David Poderherz--sp?--the guy who wrote Bush Country. He said the only "warning" given about AQ to the Bush Admin. was ONE slide out of a 26 slide Power Point presentation and that slide said something like, "Come up with a plan to take out AQ"

Pretty much discredited Clark altogether.

Happy Monday! :-)

Sorry, just saw your post re: Max Factor and Cover girl. I like them both, they are comparabale in price - about $10 - but I usually catch a sale.

It absolutely works as well as they say it does. Be careful to follow directions. Lips must be clean and dry to apply - no creams or balms of any kind before applying. And, as anything, practice makes perfect. It really is a lip paint.

The only thing I don't like, is that it is a very matte finish, and I need to reaaply the gloss frequently. I wish they could make it in a glossy finish.

I watch less Fox news these days as it doesn't seem as good as it used to be...Man, if I had millions, I'd start up my own Conservative Media channel and go 24/7 on Good Topics for Conservatives, Coverage anytime President Bush is out in the Public Eye and even get "regular folks" interviews daily on people in Middle America and how they are doing economically, physically, politically, etc. No one EVER asks the Regular guy how things are going? Why is that?

Thank you for your concerns Gretchen .. and you should know that today I'm making your split pea soup so I can eat something nutricious and don't have to chew a lot. I have opted to chop up the carrots and celery fairly fine to allow for less chewing. I know from the ingredient list it's going to taste wonderful.

The last couple of nights have been the most restful and so today my jaw is feeling a lot better. However, once I chew something the pain returns; but each day it's less severe.

I think there's a difference between fluffy and sloppy. I think the Reverend's hair is a bit too long. It reminds me a lot of my oldest brother's hair. He's grown it long because he's 24 and already has a receding hairline. Hmmm...maybe the Reverend is doing the same thing. I couldn't really see the front of his hair.

I agree with you that the Reverend's hair is a bit TOO long. Just had to point out the "fluffy hair" to you. :-)

Fluffy hair is generally only endearing on Dubya :) (To me, anyway.)

ANYTHING on W. is endearing to you, my dear! :-)

How many weeks of school do you have left? Do you have lots of papers and etc. due before then?

**ANYTHING on W. is endearing to you**
Yeah, I guess that's true. Especially fluffy hair, flight suits, tuxes, and jeans...and his eyes...oh, and cowboy hats...

This week and next week until spring break. (We have a "winter term" which is five weeks after Christmas break so our spring term didn't actually start until mid-February.) Then we have about five more weeks, including exams. My roommate (and best friend for 7 years) graduates on May 22nd.
Way too many papers to count. I have a major paper for Women and Religion which involves interviewing a woman about her religious experiences and turning it into a minimum of a 7-page paper. (My professor has yet to explain how to do that.) A major paper for Judaism which involved picking some aspect of Judaism and writing about it. (My topic is Emma Lazarus, a Jewish American female poet. Once again, this professor has also not really explained exactly what we're supposed to write about.) Then I've got various midterms and smaller papers and tests...Did I answer your question?

Use a big font! LOL!

Sounds like you'll keep plenty busy and out of trouble! Someone today said that our kids have just 8 more weeks of school--I couldn't believe it! I'm sure it will go fast. I do love summer, wtih the lack of schedule and time to do so much more. But I'm usually ready to get back into a routine by the time they start school again. Just need to make a list of all the projects I want to have completed before they're home for the summer.

I bet your last five weeks will go fast!

Yeah, I wish! Teachers have caught onto that one. Now they clarify 12 point font. (And Times New Roman.)

I usually can't wait for summer to start. And then about three weeks before it's over (sometimes longer), I can't wait to get back to school. It's not the routine I like though. It's the not living with my mother part.

You're making DARN sure I know--THANK YOU! It's been kind of a yukky day--Monday you know--so this will be a major pick me up (maybe right off the floor, if they show that kiss!)

Are you going to watch it again too?

Thanks again--see you later!

***Now they clarify 12 point font. (And Times New Roman.)***

So that means you can't use a different font for every paragraph, huh? :-)

*** It's the not living with my mother part.***

I understand completely. I love my parents dearly but after a few days of their quirks . . . I'm glad to come home to my own quirks. IIRR you have a brother and maybe some other siblings? When you talk to each other do you make fun of your parents? My sisters and I were ROFLOL the other day doing that. :-) I like my routines. Sometimes even a little compulsively . . .

Did you ever get to watch the campaign rally? I found it on C-span for you if not.

The video isn't very clear, but it's better than nothing if you haven't seen it.

scroll down about half way.

I'm reading through the last couple of day's Dose and I see you and homemom were talking about the campaign rally.

It's on the C-span website. It's not the best video, but it's better than nothing for those that didn't get to see it live. (I did get to see it and it was wonderful)

Anyway, try this if you haven't found it yet.

I sent this link to homemom also. Scroll about half-way down.
