Good ad, good good good. Can you get the text to stand out more against the background? I'd go with Arial or another sans-serif font, as the lines are cleaner and fatter, maybe drop-shadow the text and have the images at 80 percent transparency over black background. Excellent effort, though - much appreciated.

You know, the Bush campaign should earmark a nice chunk of their warchest for funding these grassroots-generated ads in local cable buys. And if I were them, I'd even run them in safe red states, just to foster a national mood.

Also, I'm no good at putting ads together, but you know what would be a GREAT ad? Run clips from the most vile, anti-American spectacles at all of the anti-War (read: anti-Bush) protests over the past few years, as many clips, as many people as you can pack into one minute, just spouting the most hateful and asinine invective you can find, then close the ad with the announcers voice, and white text over black screen, asking: "Are these the people you want running your country?"

Don't you just love it when "the other side" claims that truthful statements about Kerry's actual voting record in the Senate -- public record information -- constitute "attack ads." The record demonstrates that Kerry takes both sides of every issue (all the while stealthily advancing his left-progressive, socialist agenda); that he is a frank political opportunist who flip-flops whenever he perceives an advantage to himself.

But hey, that's not Dubya's fault. Why point the finger of blame at him? Doesn't make any sense at all.
