Hi missy -- I have been tested for Vitamin A absorption and came up wanting. One of the main symptoms all my life, shared with my mother and sister, was fingernails that shatter and shred and were very weak. When I read Atkins' Vita-Nutrient Solution book, he listed several supplements you can take to make your skin and nails healthier, one of which is Vitamin A. The highest safe dose is 100,000 IU's a day; since I've taken that, my nails need to be clipped and have stopped shredding and splitting.
Problems with nails, skin, metabolism, energy, etc., can also be due to thyroid problems. You could ask Truthntegrity about that.
Please look at Atkins' book. It is a treasure trove of info. I don't remember all the other things one can take for nails / skin problems but there are others.

Anyone else ever have the thought that The Passion is one way of spreading the Word "to all nations"? Yes. There will be a worldwide harvest of souls coming on the heels of this movie, which is plowing up fallow ground everywhere.
Pastors have been saying that America is going to need missionaries to come here to help with the harvest starting this year.

I just finished watching the speech George W. Bush gave Friday morning. What I saw was a leader who has never once flinched from his responsibility to protect the people he swore to defend. I saw a man willing to challenge the World's leaders to follow his lead in confronting the evil the world has come to recognize as the biggest threat to freedom and civilization itself.
There has been ample opportunity for George W. Bush to back away from the responsibilities he was charged to keep, but George W. Bush has never flinched in the face of unending criticism from the democrats, he has never flinched in the face of foreign leaders who are willing to ignore the threats we all face from these terrorist who care little about who they murder, and the Death's we suffer brings them joy, they celebrates the loss of life, and we celebrate life itself.
Despite any differences I have with any of GWB's policies, they don't even come close to making me even consider anyone else but George W. Bush for my vote.
George W. Bush is a bold and courageous leader who will do everything within his power to live up to the painting he has hanging in the Oval office, "A Charge to Keep"
