My guess: "Someone Who's Not From Virginia".

watts has too many skeletons in his closet, he'd be an easy target to ever run for GOP prez or VP.

What was Harold Ford Being prosecuted for?
To: King Black Robe
I heard something about Graham the other day that could hurt him. Seems as though he obsessively writes down every detail about his day as he goes along. Reminds me of Packwood.

What was Ford being prosecuted for? Somehow I missed that one.

Well, in a VP you need someone that fills in your blanks, helps where you fall short and helps win the demographics where you may be weak, so I think he'll ask George W. to be vice president. ;-)

I believe Kerry is going to dive into the 30-35% range in polling by June. Then health concerns (his prostate cancer) will suddenly emerge as a reason for him to drop out. That leaves Edwards or Hillary. If WMD are suddenly found, maybe Joe Lieberman. Hillary would like the abbreviated campaign - having the nomination dropped in her lap. If the President is in the mod 50's approval rating, she'll pass and go for it in 2008.

That photo is too funny. It made me laugh out loud.

As for Wesley, I think there are more than enough retired flag officers who had dealings with him and don't like him. I hope Kerry does pick him. His lunch would get eaten.

No way they would put a name like "Nadler" on the ballot. Can you imagine the confusion in Palm Beach with a Nader and a Nadler? On second thought, what better way to pre-plan a protest. They could have the callers lined up as early as today ready to claim confusion.
Ford is definitely too young to qualify unless someone means Gerry. Florida's Graham is a nut case and having one on the ticket already means they don't need him for balance. I don't know why his name keeps coming up other than his issuance of weekly press releases saying he is available. Nelson would be the Florida senator to pick if they want a Southern element. But he would show up the top of the ticket so I doubt we'd see that.

Gephardt. He will pick him cos of Dick's geography, Dick will pull in unions, and Dick will not upstage him. Kerry has such a big ego, he & Teresa Heinz couldn't abide having Edwards, Hillary, Richardson, McCain on the ticket w/him.

LOL! Goodun. And I am sure GW will jump at that opportunity.

These days, everyone has a past. I don't think it would hurt Watts at all.

Man, was she a handful on that Trump 'Apprentice' show.
All of the people that worked with her in the White House couldn't wait to tell the press how difficult she was to be around!

Richardson has said NO, as has Edwards.
They wouldn't be floating the nonsense about McCain if they had anyone willing to be on the ticket with ketchup-boy.

According to most pols Kerry runs even or slightly above or slightly below Bush. If you add Nader to the equation he loses every time. Look for him to pick Nader or that nut Dean.
They are so far from being mainstream with Kerrys voting record that they will be trying the numbers thing.
Kerry thinks he can win without the South and he can but he cant by chosing a "moderate" candidate. He has to go full bore liberal and rely on the nuts. The union guys like Nader and Dean and so do alot of fringe voters that probably won't vote otherwise.
