Still, Mr. Kerry could not entirely escape the hazards of the arena he had left behind. He had just sat down for a bite to eat on the crowded patio near the lift line when a waiting skier, John Norris, shouted: "Hey, John! What foreign leaders talked to you?" Hhehehehe Ping

Snowboarders are thugs on the slopes. They knock people down, show no coutesy and many times are youger people, even kids. This was no vacation, it was part of his campaign and image makeover from a mortician to a energentic dude.

That's why the Dem's can claim to be so inclusive. Just think of all the shades of white you just described.

he Democrats bought the proverbial pig in a poke with Kerry. But ultimately, the important thing for him is that he's not Bush -- all they care about is getting a Dem back in the White House, no matter what a jerk he isMaybe that's why they are looking at McCain. ;-)

Maybe that's why they are looking at McCain. ;-) If I were a black Democrat, I'd be outraged over those rumors. Think about it -- what those McCain as VP rumors say is that the Democrats would rather choose a Republican as their VP than a Democratic black man (or woman.) So much for the party of civil rights!

Kerry had to run away from the guy who asked him what foreign leaders did you talk to!! What a WUSSY SISSY BOY.
Do 60 years old snowBOARD?? I thought that was for kids.

Kerry is proving the Secret Service to be the most professional people on earth. Anyone else shoulda woulda slapped that granite face into next week.
Don't have to wonder too hard as to the word he used to describe the man who got in his way, do we?

This headline ain't biased. A weary Kerry???? A tired old man????
I have a question. If you have your face Botoxed, does it still do all the gymnastics that you see when folks ride a roller coaster or ski downhill really fast????? Or does it stay frozen in place?????????

""Everyone in this town is anti-Bush," Barrett, a Junior Olympic skier, said between runs. "He's trying to destroy our planet."
A new adjective for Bush: "Destroyer of Worlds"

Funny how he so "badly" needs his vacation and GWB is blasted when he heads to Crawford.

The shadows of the two seem to be different also. Still, I like the expression on the face of the guy behind Kerry - looking at him and thinking what a total Clymer!

Several Democrats and Kerry aides said some of his missteps were a result of exhaustion. They and some of the senator's friends said the vacation could not have come too soon. "He needed it about as badly as anybody could need it,"
Oh this is rich. The man has NO responsibilities, yet he is exhausted. Exhausted from WHAT? I guess just trying to keep all his lies straight.
Cry me a river, I want a President who doesn't have to take to his bed when the going gets tough.

His next trip down, a reporter and a camera crew were allowed to follow along on skis just in time to see Mr. Kerry taken out by one of the Secret Service men, who had inadvertently moved into his path, sending him into the snow. When asked about the mishap a moment later, he said sharply, "I don't fall down," then used an expletive to describe the agent who "knocked me over."
The incident occurred near the summit. No one was hurt, and Mr. Kerry came careering down the mountain moments later, a look of intensity on his face, his lanky frame bent low to the ground.
In these parts we call that "look of intensity" a "sulk".
What a piece of trash Kerry is. This Secret Service man is there to protect his sorry rear and this is the attitude he takes. Better extend the vacation for another week to recuperate from this incident.
What a childish and petulant ninny he comes off as. A girlish bully.

Well, the 60-year olds I know don't go shopping for jocks with their daughters, either. Guess the rich really are different.

You know football on the slopes is a lot of fun! "Hey John, go long for the football toward those big trees overthere".
