GLIDING ALONG: John Kerry, who often appears stiff as a board, loosens up with a little snowboarding yesterday in Idaho, where he's on R&R.

Heard on the news this morning that another skier had run into Kerry and completely decked him. Where's the photo of that?

Would love to hear the audio aftermath too: "Are you a Republican?!! Well, are you?!!"

They were all trying for that manly man persona. It didn't work.

Now, President Bush, on the other hand, has IT, and you can tell it's genuine.

great pic; I've noticed there has yet to be a pic taken of the President with the military in which there are many somber faces in his presence.....there were so many like that with XXX42.

Right. Ya see Bush goes home and works on his property because it is a lot of work and it is rewarding to see the improvements. Kerry has staff for that.

Toll free to the US Capitol......they will connect you to any congressional office or senator's office.

1-877-762-8762

Emails usually generate an automated response and nothing further.

Snail mail goes to a place where it is tested for contaminants and takes a very long time to arrive.

Using the toll free number is the best. Just about every office actually answers their phone. Sometimes you get voice mail. McCain's office has a spin....they say they can't talk about anything relating to campaigning, campaign donations (such as VIACOM) and give you another number which just loops you around and hangs up on you.

The airbrushing of Gore was to enhance, not minimize.

I make it a priority to call at least one politician every single day. Sometimes to praise, but often to criticize.

I couldn't remember which it was but it was ridiculous. Oh! they also said Gore was in the top 1% in fitness and Bush was in the top 10%. I laughed because I saw that sweat hog jogging with his wife for a photo op. They had their "jogging gear" on and were pushing a 30 minute mile.

Don't forget "the kiss" at the convention.

You're right, there's some sick sexual undertone to the dem campaigns.

Oh yeah "the Kiss"! Wow my wife just swooned." Oh if you would only kiss me that way! I am voting for him!"

One more thing, JFK wore his hair that way because it was right for his era. I mean if he were alive today he would probably have a different du. If the Pubs were like the Dems they would all wear their hair greased up and slicked back like Reagan. I guess Gore tried that. INSANITY!

I'll be calling sometime today.

Actually, the air-brushing was to make it look bigger, not smaller. But you're right about the weird sexual innuendo of trying to make XXX42, Gore, and Kerry look "manly", and I have only one comment: EUUUWWWWWW!

I'm sure his time in Vietnam (he is a veteran, you know)helped him to prepare to be a snowboarder.

Has anyone noticed how the past three Dem candidates have had some weird sexual innuendo involved with them. On purpose though as if to let the ladys know how sexy they are, its very strange.

For one they hire feminists to try to help create an "alpha male" image for their wimpy candidates.

Someone should have a picture of the skier that ran him over? I heard he collided with someone?

Your right, just where did he find the time to take up all these leisure activities ? As a resident Masshole I know just how much time he has spent representing the rest of us massholes.

Someone should have a picture of the skier that ran him over? I heard he collided with someone?

From the Drudge Report:

His next trip down, a reporter and a camera crew were allowed to follow along on skis — just in time to see Mr. Kerry taken out by one of the Secret Service men, who had inadvertently moved into his path, sending him into the snow.

When asked about the mishap a moment later, he said sharply, "I don't fall down," then used an expletive to describe the agent who "knocked me over."

Such class. And Carter/Hillary-esque to boot.
