"Kerry Answers Critics of Anti-War Stance by Attacking Bush's Service!!"

"Conservative critics have questioned whether Kerry deserved his three Purple Hearts for battle wounds, an issue the Democratic presidential candidate sought to put to rest last week by releasing his military records. On Sunday, a top Bush adviser criticized Kerry for leading anti-war protests after he returned from the battlefield."

Keep the heat on, FReepers, Kerry's undergoing a melt-down...MUD

Mud, quit dodging and ducking and answer the question...did he say that he was going to reduce the size of government and cut back on spending?

No, he did not.

You elect people based on what they say they are going to do, and reelect them based on how much of what they said they would do was accomplished.

Did he say that he would convict them?

No, he did not.

Mud, you're insane, this is not a "cold war", this is a hot war Mud, and Dubya's spending, as a percentage of GDP is still well below Reagan's.

Once again...did Bush say that he would cut back of programs Mud?

Of course he did not.

How's the economy as a result of Dubya's spending Mud?

It seems to be doing just fine...no small feat after the Clintons, the melt down of the dot.coms, and 9/11.

Actually, it's doing fine BECAUSE of some great leadership from DC.

I can't help it if you failed to actually listen to what Bush said during his campaign, and instead, decided to vote for him based on what YOU THOUGHT he should do.

The failure there is yours Mud...you failed to listen.

Voting Third Party Mud, gave us eight years of Bill Clinton...and you're still singing about him.

Voting Third Party Mud CAN, and WILL IN FACT bring about the downfall of the American Dream Mud. Because it will give power to the left.

You want to "pray" that we don't get four years of Kerry as Commander In Chief?

Hell Mud, vote Third Party and you will bear part of the responsibility for making that nightmare a reality.

"The failure there is yours Mud..."

A failure I hereby swear not to repeat, my FRiend...I listened to folks who said, "Wait...Ashcroft will get around to punishing the enemies of this Country who dominated the Clinton Administration"...and "...after we get back control of the Senate, all sorts of grand things will happen." Yeah, and I somewhat believed them...shame on ME!! It's high time Conservatives laid down the law with Dubyuh...WE WANT LESS FEDERAL GUV'MENT in our lives, not record spending on Ted Kennedy's Education Bill and a failure to open up ANWR fer drilling!! Dubyuh's gotta do better than his daddy if he wants to be the great leader he has the potential to be!!

All hail Dubyuh on his wonderfully-run War on Terrorism...but he's still got fences to mend on his domestic performance to date. Pretending he don't only prolongs the problem and weakens his resolve to do what's right!!

"I listened to folks who said..."

Did Ashcroft say it?

Did Bush say it?

You cast your vote on something some other people said that the President would do, instead of casting it on what the candidate ACTUALLY said?

Did anyoine outside of FreeRepublic say it Mud?

I didn't say it.

And anyone with half a brain in their heads would never have said it.

"...the $50+ billion cut back on welfare that Slick Willie achieved"

LOL...the House hadta cram that thing down Clinton's throat before he'd sign it!! Why do you insist on equating budget-cutting with Clinton?! Big Federal Spending is BAD, whoever's doing it...Dubyuh needs to lead on getting it back under control. He's got the horses in the House to get it done...after November, I believe he'll have the votes in the Senate as well. Why doesn'ty he give us a vision of what sort of things we can reign in during Dubyuh's second term?

C'mon Dubyuh, win over the RotGut Conservative VOTE...MUD

Because you equate budget spending with Bush.

One or the other Mud.

If the successes were Congress's and not Clinton's, then the failures are Congress's and not Bush's.

Facts is that in 1992, Federal spending was roughly 21.5% of the GDP, Clinton brought it down to roughly 17.5% of GDP.

Dubya is at about 20% of GDP, lower than both Reagan and Bush I, higher than Clinton.

That's in the aftermath of 9/11.

The education bill Mud?

Would ytou have fired General McArthur after retreating from the Phillipines?

You can't win every battle.

"Why doesn'ty he give us a vision of what sort of things we can reign in during Dubyuh's second term?"

Lsten to what he says Mud, listen carefully.

Mud, that was simply the truth.

No one with any sort of understanding of the political process would have said that Clinton was going to be prosecuted for anything.
