I don't know, but it seems to me you have described the Democratic Party in your screed.
To: Lazamataz
The WTC would have to be anchored in bedrock, as close as it was to freestanding water and as heavy as it used to be.

FR's call to purge Liberalism and to install a conservative only lifestyle in these United States is not realistic under the auspices of the U.S. Constitution which is designed for all groups of all types and classes to be protected from the domination and authority of the dominant group.Since when have Liberalism, or Greens, given a rat's tush about the Constitution except when it acts as a shield for their destruction of it? You want to talk about protecting all types of classes from the domination and authority of the dominant group, but the Green party platform calls for a 100% income tax on incomes over $110,000:
Maximum Income: Build into the progressive income tax a 100% tax on all income over ten times the minimum wage.
Where's the protection of the prosperous and productive from the dominant group of social parasites?

My apologies. I originally was a poster at Time.Com/Politics, and the person starting a thread was the "thread parent," and was expected to tend to it.
Sorry for the jargon.

This isn't an opus.......Laz writes a fine opus.Actually, the Opus that I wrote that one time was intended to mock Hildy into reconsidering her opus.
It worked. She's still postin'. :o)

.
I had a tough time reading this post. Not that it was written poorly. It was. But because the thought process was very disjointed.
Usually when one comes upon a thought process so disjointed it implies a number of possible causes. One, the writer might have a mental or thinking problem. Two, maybe the writer is just stringing along "key phrases" and using the phrasology to create sentences. Three, that the writer is honestly trying to influence others, but their reasoning ability is so alien to the reader that they come off as disjointed nonsense.
I noticed that a large number of intellectual Keywords were used. While this might impress youth and others without any kind of education, it comes across as real nonsense to educated, and thinking people. You don't have to use "big" words to communicate your point. An uncommon or underused word can be a wonderful pronouncement in a given sentence. If used correctly. But if over used, the reader gets the impression of a pompus dimwit.
All in all, when you see the buzz word of "Facist" used against an organization or group of people devoted or embracing "liberty" of any kind, a warning alarm should go off. This word is the opposite of Liberty. It is a technique used by either evil men, or ignorant fools to distroy the belief in personal liberties and freedoms. There is a Socialist movement on a global scale, and the sole bastions of individual rights and freedoms are being assaulted.
Free Republic is not perfect. The posters on Free Republic aren't perfect either. But we can express our views. If the writer is unable to express his view, it must be solely because he cannot express it without offending the nature and guidelines of FR. |

I thought you said you were never going to post here again.
This is really going to bring down your Opus grade. It's like storming dramatically out of the room, but being yanked back after catching your purse strap on the door handle.

JimRob is shrewd... So what you're saying is that he's no Ralph Nader.

So, you're not leaving?
Is there an anti-opus list?
