I'm going to be sick..

Me too. The Islamofascists are smiling everywhere. In typical leftist fashion, the enemy will be appeased through weakness. It's time for us to pull up all military ties with western Europe (including bases in Spain and Germany) and dissolve (drop out of) NATO and the UN immediately (Yeah I know, I'm dreaming).

Probably ignorant youths swayed the elections as it takes twenty years for some to grow out of their foolish idealistic beliefs.

The young ones didn't live under Franco. The older Spaniards know better.

FNC is reporting that the new prime minster says he'll withdrawal troops from Iraq

That was part of the platform they ran on. "Bring the boys home" - tom

The Islamists will interpret this as a huge victory for their tactics. Just imagine, a few bombs, a few hundred people dead, a new government in Spain.

Easy!

If it will work in Spain, what will make them think it won't happen in the United States and get Kerry (or hillary) elected and George Bush thrown out, especially if they can manufacture massive casualties?

This is a very bad omen for us. Al Qaeda will now pull out all stops to massacre Americans and cause chaos around our Election Day in the hope of determining our next leaders through mass murder.

The crowd remained and closed in on Raoul. A state trooper intervened and told the protesters to back off, which they did.

The cop had to tell the peace activists to back off. No wonder these people confuse terrorists with freedom fighters. Peace activists. What an oxymoron.

Well .. they also sent a message to the terrorists .. that if you attack ... they'll run and hide

The rest of Europe best be on high alert because the terrorists will hit again for sure

I don't really expect much from Europe. In 20 years, it will be overrun by Islamists.

Why did our ancestors flee Europe and establish our union in the Western Hemisphere, oh so many year ago? To flee religious persecution,, and what do we see happening today? A religion of terror, a respector of no man or woman or child or infant. Evil incarnate.

The overrunning of the European continent is already so far advanced that 20 months may be a more appropriate time frame for the fait accompli of the Islamo Euro-invasion.

Terrorism works, evidently. Iran/Saudi Arabia foreign policy efforts worth about 10% in the polls, at least in Spain.

Because it is a huge victory. They changed a government, and the ignorati don't even question the fact that the bombers aren't Iraqi or Afghani.

It is a huge victory also for who ordered this.

Supply-side oil war ping!

And then Britain.... I wonder if they have the guts to go after targets in Eastern Europe (our new allies)? That could cause a bloodbath for Muslims in that region. Very nationalistic people.

I heard on Fox News that Zapatero was a law professor. To combat terrorism probably means to sue the terrorists into submission.

The terrorists must be shaking in their sandals. /sarcasm

Wonder how the Spanish military feels about that?

We forget how much the Spaniards were against the war. Here is a little reminder from a year ago.

Giles Tremlett in Madrid and Sophie Arie in Rome Saturday March 29, 2003 The Guardian

The Spanish prime minister, Jose Maria Aznar, the third man on the international stage beside George Bush and Tony Blair in the run-up to war, was staring at political disaster yesterday as anti-war demonstrations spread and opinion polls revealed 91% of Spaniards against the war.

The scale of opposition to war has forced the People's party government on to the defensive. Mr Aznar has not dared to back his pro-Bush stance before the war with combat troops. Even the sending of 900 troops for "humanitarian work" has provoked the fury of the anti-war camp. The most recently published opinion poll on attitudes to war, by the state's own official pollsters, showed 91% opposition. Recent polls of voting intention show that, over two months, the People's party has gone from running neck-and-neck with the anti-war socialists to trailing them by six points. A clear majority of people now expect the socialists to win next year's election.

Well, this is getting interesting.

Yes! It is!

Let's see what happens with elections in UK next time

The way I see it.......
Europe will "wimp out" once again........
Then they will "hope and Pray" (Using the term loosely; Euro's never pray to anything or believe in anything: well...except sexual perverts)

They'll "wimp out" once again and Hope WE will save them!
Of Couse:
After they have "started WW III
And
Then! Come to US to "clean Up the Mess they started in the first place!
IMHO

(For any of you "bleeding hearts" out there.........
My Ancestor arrived here in 1640
My Family has a long history here.....
I have the blood of Welsh, English, Scots, Italian, French, German, Jewish, (And maybe some other that I cannot document. But! That which I have stated, I can Document)

I AM An AMERICAN! (NO Hyphens!)
This IS MY Country!
AS
It Is With Every other AMERICAN of Blood Mix (Same As Me)
I Do Not Care IF anyones Blood Has Black, Hispanic, Anglo, SO Long As ALL OF US Are Citizens of the USA and Believe in OUR Constitution!
That IS ALL That Matters!
Nothing More
Nothing Less

Thank You J

GOD Bless US

People, people, people. This is a sad setback, yes. But look at this history of World War II. In December-February 1942, the Nazis still looked as though they could defeat Russia; every Euro nation had either allied with Hitler or declared neutrality except Britain, which was isolated and out of money; the Japanese had taken Singapore, the Philippines, Wake Island, New Guinea, half of China, and conquered more territory and people than any empire in history . . . and that was as good as it was going to get for the Axis.

We have just begun the "War on Terror." It is just over two years old, during which time we have liberated Afghanistan, Iraq, emasculated Libya, and without firing a shot (directly) forced semi-free elections in Saudi Arabia.

Yah, Spain is pulling out of Iraq. Big deal. We ALL are pulling out of Iraq before too long, as the Iraqis take over. What we have seen is a temporary setback for a man of integrity. But Aznar wasn't running, and we don't know the details of the domestic situation, which can't help but play a role in the vote. In short, consider this a Dieppe-type event: unfortunate at first glance, but we don't know where the road leads. Every war has victories and defeats. No one, including the good guys, wins 100% of the battles.

Next up will be Iran.
