Perhaps an article for townhall.com would get things moving.

Im tired of fighting these people. Its over. I give up. I'll be there when its time..but for now I'm shutting down.I'm starting to feel that way myself. It seems that there are too many on the side that make claims about representing me that are bent on sending us up the river.
I'll be there when its time
.........yes, and I know what that 'time' will be.

I heard Henry Lamb on the radio say the key thing is to ask our Senators to "File an Objection" to the Law of the Sea Treaty - Lugar has sent to each Senator a request for unanimous vote on this - if no Senator files an objection they'll bring it up at 1 am with only a couple guys on the floor and say it passed by unanimous consent without a recorded vote. Let's hope they cannot sneak this heinous treaty without a recorded vote.
If you don't want to give UN taxation authority and control over the oceans (they say the UN will use this to tax ocean going cargo/oil shipments since they use 'the commons') please call your Senators today - ask them to file an objection to it today - the soverignty you save maybe your own country's.
Senate switchboard: 202-224-3121
Call your Senators and ask them to object to a unanimous consent vote on T. Doc.103-39.
Then ask them to vote against T. Doc.103-39.

Thanks for the information.
The Senate works in mysterious ways sometimes, it helps to let people know concrete actions they can take that work within the Senate rules.

No doubt, the desire to turn the South China Sea and Strait of Malacca into explicitly PRC controlled territory is the main reason why the PRC hate the current laws regarding free passage. They can't stand the idea of US, Indian or Japanese Navy ships being within striking distance of their land.
