Just about everyone is related if you go back far enough.Yep. And if you go back a little beyond that you run out of living human relatives leaving one with an unavoidable choice: either some of our relatives aren't human (visit zoo for examples) or the different animal species were spontaneously created by (fill in the blank).

I actually have two lines of Lee blood. The GEneral is a cousin. (I'm from the Ditchley line of Lees.) I also have Mayflower blood -- Rev. Brewster. And there is a President in my family tree, too -- Zachary Taylor, one of whose daughters married Jefferson Davis.
Ironically, the Taylors used to own most of the land that is now Newport, Kentucky, a suburb of Cincinnati, and may parents were Cincinnatians, although I grew up in teh New York area.

I'm curious, as a subsciber to ancesty, how did you find this? (Please direct me from the home page....thanks.)

Was just surfing through all my news links and happened to click on this one:
http://www.freakingnews.com/default.asp . Check out some of the photoshopped images while you're there. Pretty funny some of them (though I'd be scared to post them here, lol!).

Thanks, this is not from Ancestry's site, and I'm sure that they will be happy to know that some Kerry/moby/scum is scamming them and fraudulently representing themselves as being from ancestry.com. And BTW, NO that is NOT sourced! LOL!
To: A Citizen Reporter
OMG, nice catch, thanks. By all means, report 'em! Looked real to me, lol.

See, this is why we need to elect Condoleezza Rice. At best she's related to Thomas Jefferson's brother.

Elizabeth Gallup (1665-1736) married Jane Hemingway (1824-1890) and they produced Henry Stevens?

John McCaslin has nothing better to do with his time than to come up with this trash. Another Goebbels like character part of the TASS and PRAVDA and DER SPIEGEL media. I'm not wasting any more time on McCaslin's trash.

It's coming back to me now, and I think I should apologize . . . This is all my fault. I first found freakingnews.com when somebody here at FR posted the link. It's just a photoshop contest site. I bookmarked it and put it in with all my other news links because the pics are very often topical in nature. I visited the site a few times, and then . . . I totally forgot all about it!
A year or two passed, and today I just happened to see the link and clicked on it, forgetting that just about all the pics there are photoshopped entries, submitted as part of an ongoing contest. No doubt that "family tree" for Bush/Kerry was also an entry submitted by someone, who might very well be some Moby twerp (although, in my own defense, darnit, they sure tricked me into thinking I was going to ancestry.com!). Sigh . . . Getting old is hell. :-(

Obviously a typo! ;-)
Please see #53. (This is so embarrassing! :-))

sure they may be cousins, but in the eyes of skull and bones, they are blood brothers.

I think McCaslin intended it to be a light, fun, "isn't that odd" sort of item. You sound like some kind of conspiratorialist the wayyou'r reading so much into it.
