Great coincidence this week that all of the news media decided independently, yet simultaneously, to analyze Kerry's thought and decision-making processes with all of the same tired descriptions that they have been trotting out for every Democrat who runs for the White House.

Funny how they never cite any specific examples (accomplishments) of this great brilliance that they always attribute to these Dem candidates.

Can the geniuses in the liberal media mention ONE bill John F. Kerry sponsored or co-sponsored during his 16 years as U.S Senator? At least Uncle Ted has a track record. Why doesn't Kerry?

As George Stephanopoulis might have said, Kerry kept the positions on issues that he meant to keep.

That is why legislators tend to make lousy Presidents. "Deliberating" is a legislator's job. A President's job is to decide. It is often more important in an organization that somebody just plain decide than that they get it exactly right.

Even though he was one of the ex-Governors, Jimmy Carter was probably our last seriously "deliberative" President. His Administration was a disaster from beginning to end. Even when he did decide something, he would re-visit the issue the next week and "decide" something else. People learned that his decisions were not really decisions. Thus the petty little bureaucratic wars that always go on around an executive office never stopped. Even if your side lost, there was always the chance that you could get the boss to overrule himself next week or next month. That is the worst thing that can happen in an organization. It demoralizes everybody, because no matter what "the plan" is, it'll be different next week.

If that is what Kerry is really like, that will come across during the campaign, and he will lose big time. The whole time the media is touting him as some sort of genius, the public will be seeing a guy who can't make a decision. People understand very well that that is not a guy you want in the oval office when Something Happens.
