Thank you for your transparent bias in reporting on President Bush’s very touching and positive ad. It reminded me why I am no longer a democrat and only listen to Fox news. By the way, I am a Vietnam veteran who lost a lot of friends in the Vietnam war. Please tell Sen. Kerry to stop bringing the Vietnam war up, it brings back very painful memories.

Maybe I missed the point or it should be made more clear in the ad but I thought the point was to identify Kerry as not-the-friend-of-vets he claims to be because of his very public accusations against soldiers and the military and the lies told by others during that hearing claiming to be vets who turned out to have never been in Nam. Kerry's actions play a big part in what happened to returning soldiers.

That is a wonderful e-mail! Thank you for your service! Even though I was born 6 years after the war ended, I still appreciate every vet's effort in making sure that the world would be a better place for me and my generation.

Keep up the good work...maybe some liberal newspapers?

I think it might be prudent to exchange ideas with joesnuffy so folks don't get the wrong idea about the ad. Maybe rather than "hero?" at the end, you could weave into your ad Kerry's bogus attempts at pretending to be a friend to vets, highlight how he sold them down the river, accentuating his opportunist character? Just a thought. Would be good to include the www.wintersoldier.com link at the end of your ad, maybe.
