Didn't say that. I noted with irony that Kerry is more straightforward about calling an Amnesty an Amnesty than Bush is. Didn't call him a paragon of anything, nor did I suggest it, nor did I suggest supporting him.

I believe I said The best chances of defeating Amnesty remain in maintaining a solidly GOP House. The Senate, limpwrists will probably go along with the Bush Amnesty, and I am not of the mind to see Kerry elected and hope for gridlock that way.

That's pretty much what happened in CA -- every single statewide elected office was held by a Democrat, until Arnold came along. Of course the only reason we did get Arnold, because they couldn't suppress him in a primary.
