I think that you're 100% correct about all of that. Hillary wants 2008 and a really baaaaaaaaaaaaaad loss for the Dem candidate this year!

Thanks. Still a close race. I notice that Sharpton got more votes than he ever has in previous primaries.

I suspect those votes for Sharpton came from the African American inner cities of Georgia, much like his totals in DC.

Turn to CNN and tell me if you think Novak is drunk. He sounds and acts like it to me.

that's got to be what Hillary is calculating.

Absolutely. 2004 is about paying the dues to the Dem establishment, that way they won't be around to resist Hillary in 2008.

As an aside, a friend of mine was covering Kennedy when he was out stumping for Kerry in Dubuque, Iowa. One of the hotel managers tried to ask Kennedy if everything was okay with the conference room and Teddy blew right by. So the manager asked another employee if Kennedy was happy with the accommodations. The reply, "there aren't enough blonds or booze in Dubuque to make that man happy." (Maybe that's an old joke that I have fallen for, but it still is funny.)

Wow, Ralph Reid just whooped up on Donna Brazille. He even said 'Clinton dot-bomb economy.' The Dems are reeling to counter, and they suck at it.

I think Bush needs to keep doing this, leading the debate and gradually throwing out stuff at Kerry, keeping them off balance so that by the time they develop the talking points, Bush has moved on to the next thing.

It's probably in Carville's best interest he's on the other side of the table, far enough away from Novak, who looked like he wanted to slug Carville on national TV.

Before this election is over, I'm going to have to put plexiglass over my TV.

As for Novak, he was trying to say what he meant but kept meandering instead and with his eyes closed. Afterwards, he sipped from his cup (coffee?)

Democratic strategist James Carville reacts to the 2002 midterm election results by placing a garbage can over his head.

It's worth a peek. It's a great slam at Kerry from a Vietnam vet, probably tells what most vets feel about the guy, the press not yet reporting this groundswell.

At last, it begins.
