You are being a bit too literal, but I think you know what I mean. Yes, the Haitians killed everything white during their revolt, and I am sorry for the small children. But they had good reason to think of the French as devils. Haiti was perhaps the
worst case of European colonialism, bar none.
One story that comes to mind is the French plantation owner who tested his new pistols by casually shooting two of his servants as they went about their chores -- this in front of his family, a visitor fresh off the boat from Europe, and the rest of his staff. (The horrified visitor is the one who reported the incident.) Virtually anywhere else -- probably even in the worst days of the Belgian Congo -- this would have been regarded as an atrocity. In Haiti, it was taken in stride.

Exactly!
She just admitted that CNN takes its marching orders from Dems - "dig up" something on Noriega.
She also admitted that she cannot trust this government of which she is a part?
Finally she admits by her own words that a kidnapped person called her. She did not say he asked her to arrange transport back to Haiti, right? He did not ask her to rescue him, right? He did not ask her to go there and take his place?
You're right many more questions arise!

Maxine Waters ought to know plenty about hate, what with her PhD, Olympic class levels of it within her grating voiced self.
I wonder, Bella Abzug, MaximumHate Waters and Boxerface . . .
not quite th 4 horsemen of the Apocolypse . . .
perhaps the 3 horse's arses of the Apocolypse?

How evil can they get? Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Mugabe, Idi Amin, Hitler, Castro, and that's just the ones from the last century. The list is virtually endless.

Sorry to say but it just occurred to me what I haven't realized for so long, with the exception of a few instances, the left has always sat on the enemies side. Think about it, they don't cheer for us, we are the bad guys! Liberal loyalty does not lie with America. Remember how much better the lives of all those women would have been if we had left Saddam alone? And the unnecessary repercussions poor France and Germany are now experiencing because Bush had to stick his big nose in Iraq. And 9/11, whos team do you think theyre on?

Waters is following the leftist mantra: "Tell the lie enough times, and the public will see it as truth." Okay, it's worked; I believe it now.
Best reason I've heard of so far to support Bush's re-election efforts. I don't expect that's the result Maxine wanted, but it's all she'll get.

"Bush Official a 'Haiti-Hater'"And I wasn't even invited to join. Is there a tie-tac or lapel pin? Do they have a secret handshake and conclaves in the dead of the night with mysterious sanctimony, in accordance with prescribed rituals and time-honored ceremony?

"Mr. Noriega at the State Department . . . . he is behind the whole plan," Waters told CNN. "He is known as a Haiti hater and he's in charge of this policy." - Maxine Waters
Maxine continues to prove that when she fell out of the dumb & ugly tree, she hit every branch on the way down.
I guess the hundreds of millions of US dollars given to Haiti over the past 10 years is irelevant to Mz.Waters

Actually, I think the cool stuff is reserved for the "Haiti Lovers Anonymous Cabal".
To be a true Haiti Hater, I think the requirements are:
1) Currently breathing;
2) IQ > Combined age of the President's children; and
3) Have read a newspaper at least ONCE without that reading being required as a condition of employment or academic status.
(The last requirement can be waived, if one can demonstrate that a cable news channel has been watched ONCE in the last 20 years.)
