So, when an elected official studiously violates the law, what is the recourse? Lawyers, what say ye?

What do you do when an appointee of an elected official enforces a policy that allows breaking of state and local laws?
Should Bush be jailed for Ashcroft's sins?

An anti-Ashcroft zealot, I presume?

Did Ashcroft run rough shod over right to die laws in Oregon, and did his narcs bust medical marijuana users in contravention of California laws? If the answer is yes, how can one take umbrage at the San Francisco mayor ignoring laws he didn't like? Or does it all depend on whose side of the equation one is doing the figuring?

So, to get back to the original question, what is the recourse if Ashcroft  reports to an elected official?

Bump for later.

How is it that three percent of our population is dictating to the rest of the country that we have to overturn marriage, an institution cutting across all cultures and civilizations of the last five thousand years, to accommodate their needs? The next civil war is not far off!

I understand someone in New York is about to be indicted for performing gay "marriages," when the law prohibits it. Hoping the same will happen to SF's mayor.

Another aspect of this problem is how the Liberals' disregard for the Law is spreading like wildfire across the Country. New Mexico, New York, now Portland... Americans have to realize RIGHT NOW that the Left does NOT CARE ABOUT THE LAW and is moving to the point where they feel they are justified in doing whatever they please.

My worry is what they will do next. Even worse, what will they be doing to us in 50 years?

Thanks Justin for the great article. And, I fear the same.....the chip, chip, chip of the liberal left wil never stop.
