Yeah Mayor I did... I hope George H.W. Doesn't catch something... I hope he washed his hands right away.
Very good article BTW!!
good responses also.
Talk to ya soon.
Thanks Rus.. Talk soon
The statement noted that the strict time constraints and warning light will stifle his long winded intellectual style...
See...? The common "down home" simplistic style of George W. Bush is an advantage over the "Brilliance" of DemocRAT Kerry in the "unfair" agreed upon debate rules.
"Brilliant as a Democrat"
I watched part of C-SPAN's re-airing of one of the 2000 debates between George W. Bush and Al Gore and realized that President Bush is actually good at debating. I think he has improved considerably and is even more confident and self-assured.
The media will not find it so easy this time to cast aspersions, create doubt, or wordsmith their way to a win for F'n. He intones and drones and flicks his forked tongue which has white, congealed saliva that viewers can't ignore.
The only way F'n will pull off any points in a debate is if he changes his personality and I don't think he's going to be able to do that in less than a week. (Besides, he most likely wonders why the peons, shove-its and scumbags he wants to rule are so blind to his intelligence and glittering wisdom and doesn't think he needs to change anything.) One of my sisters is a semi-liberal and even she cannot stand his mannerisms, so I'm encouraged about the outcome of the debates.
Living proof of what happens when donkeys breed with sheep, you get a species that is too dumb to think beyond their own pasture.
The North East elitist arrogance is obvious... BUT we must remember...John F. Kerry is not only a HERO, he has more decorations in 4 months and 12 days than any American soldier in history!!!! he's an absolutely brilliant...."hero"!!!
I've said the same thing for years - 'brilliance' and 'genius' are so overused these days that they are devoid of practical meaning.
Basically when you see someone being hailed as 'brilliant,' what the person making the remark is really saying is 'they think the same way I do.' That's all - nothing more, nothing less.
When I was at law school I heard that Clinton had been 'brilliant' in bringing bargaining chips to the table on a matter that was being debated at the time. I suggested that bargaining chips that you don't care much about isn't evidence of 'brilliance,' but rather a pretty standard negotiation tactic.
It's usually covered in the first few pages of any book on negotiation tactics.
Brilliant? Nope.
I worked in 2 NYC law firms and I would see people hailed for their brilliance and genius literally because they could read and understand the instruction manual.
I developed a policy when I entered the work force: I wouldn't accept any compliments like that. If I was hailed as being a genius because I could change the margins on MS Word, I would just dismiss the remark and make it clear I didn't accept it.
After all, when I looked at all the dummies hailed as brilliant and geniuses, I didn't want to be associated with them. :-)
Besides the NY Times will accept any word answers he selects.
Not necessarily. I usually reserve that comment for people who think of things I have not. If someone says somrthing I thought of I usually say, "I was thinking the same thing."
Hey... Now Barak Obama is "Brilliant" too
This is still MSM Valid
