Exactly. I'm surprised all the do-gooders who are jumping to her defense. Read some of the comments on the link I just posted. People fail to remember the attack on President Bush, or Rush. Yet this woman sounds just like i42.....No wonder he appointed her.

If you're going to drink, don't drive. If you do drink & drive, don't get caught. If you do get caught, don't be the State AG. If you do drink & drive & are the State AG, try not to be using a STATE CAR. Bwaaahahahahah.

And then (great vid) tries to portray herself as a victim. Resign now, dear. Do if for the children you could have run over and killed.

After all, she's a Democrat.

Really? Odd that the Capitol-Times article made no mention of that fact...

Oh by the way, she was also in a state vehicle. Any guess how any other state employee would be treated it operating a state vehicle impaired by alcohol and drugs?

But I can tell you that cyclobenzeprine(flexeril) is about as powerful as a glass of milk. It's nothing! On top

Depends on the individual. Lots of people get really sleepy from Flexaril and it has a real synergy with alchohol. Don't generlize your reaction to everyone. People have very idiosyncratic reactions to meds.

Hah. I note all the "if she was a Republican, she'd be in big trouble" comments...

Are you kidding? If she was a Republican, this could've just been uncovered as a last minute smear job as something that happened 30 years ago, and that would be enough to cause her to lose perhaps even -millions- of votes, at which point, even if she won after the now-close election, we'd be hearing about how she was just "selected" intead of "elected" 4 years later...

I don't know anything about Flexeril, but, as I take three drugs to control a progressive non-Parkinsonian tremor condition, I do know a thing or two about the interaction of drugs with alcohol.

I'm not much of a drinker in general - if I have 10 beers in a year, it's been a big year - but last spring I went with a good friend back to his home in Wales. We did a fair amount of pub-crawling, and I quickly discovered there was no pattern to how the beer would affect me - some nights, I could have 3 glasses and be fine; the next night, with the same drugs and amount of food on board and drinking the same beer, one glass would have my head spinning.

My friend did all the driving so it wasn't a problem, but it sure would have been if I had driven - I'd have killed somebody.

Bottom line: if you take certain drugs, and have even one drink, DON'T DRIVE.
