Well Edwards didn't serve either. So he should have nothing to say about this.

Why should the nation have to be dragged through Kerry's psychosis over his Vietnam experience?

They are already attacking him over his daughter, who is his campaign chairman and is a lesbian, so I wouldn't put anything past the RATS.

With that issue now on the side, an attack on Cheney would allow Democrats to again showcase Kerry's Vietnam service. And the Republicans to showcase his subsequent betrayal of his brothers in arms. It's a loser, but I don't know a lot of Dems who realize it.

If Vietnam is so important, why don't we just elect a Vietnamese guy?
I nominate Tuan N. Tran of Phoik Bu.

Cheney was 18 in 1959. We all remember the anti-war rallies when Ike was in the White House, don't we ?

Kerry has a new ad out...all about his service in VN...Fox showed a small clip but broke away for the President's address....from what I saw, it's truly sickening.

"a very difficult and painful period in our nation's history"Note to Kerry:
If it was so G******n difficult and painful, why do you keep flaunting your time there?
More liberal a**holery.

John Kerry served in Vietnam? Yes, and he can tell you that in nine languages... Very impressive!
I wonder how he will respond when someone speaking one of those nine languages asks him a question. After being asked the question, his response would be "You no speekie English?"

By all means, scumsucking Democrats- let's refight VietNam. I suspect that America will win this time around...
Democrats are good at STARTING wars- but, with the exception of Harry Truman, not so good at FINISHING them- oops- I just remembered that it was Roosevelt's and Truman's weakness on Korea that started THAT war, and it took Eisenhower to stop it.
oUR vIETNAM ADVWNTURE WAS BEGUN JUST SO THAT THE SICKLY, IMMORAL, AND DISASTROUSLY WEAK JFK COULD "PROVE" TO THE sOVIETS THAT HE REALLY DID SO HAVE A PAIR! (oF CPURSE, HE DIDN'T).
A lot of Special Forces veterans practically worship JFK because of his support for the beret, unconventional warfare, etc.
I am not one of those. JFK was a skirt-chasing sissy who should never have been in the Senate, let alone President. I am so damned tired of hearing Vietnam called Nixon's War that I may have to take my trusty Louisville Slugger to the next Democrat who does that in my presence. It's just the "BIG LIE" favored by Commies and Democrats (but I repeat myself).

I say, go ahead and let them try to attack Cheney on his "Service".
Frankly, he was one of the best SECDEFs to ever serve, and that trumps Kerry on anything that he ever did in Vietnam.
To: RANGERAIRBORNE
Uh, Harry Truman didn't seek reelection because he couldn't end the Korean War.
It really makes sense (not) to start attacking all our strong national defense leaders for not serving in combat in their youth, and to put in charge veterans who want to dismantle our defenses. Are the republicans articulate enough to explain that, duh, that would be a mistake.

"It was a pretty fat file," says Brinkley of the records. "Most of it was pretty boring, but it was invaluable for establishing a chronology [of Kerry's service]. I went through what he had.
Passive statement. "I went thru what he had" Now, get excited about the book!

Everything about Kerry is bogus, including his so-called "service" in Vietnam.
