I am crying for you. It was hideous when the Dread Boston Salty was at obedience school for two weeks. When that time comes, please God a long time from now, I don't know how I'll ever get through it.

(Don't try to answer that you were just because I said this to make me look wrong. Your position shows the true answer.) Sometimes you have no clue what you are speaking of.
Gee, I wonder why I got nasty?

Your first post to me was a short and generalized statement aluding to the fact that ALL mutts should be put down.
And I am telling you that in the setting where I live, I have rescued more than my fair share of "mutts".
Your generalized statement was short, cold and unexplained until later today....
I love animals..all kinds...and I am sensitive about them, thin skinned or not.
You made your point, over and over again.
Now leave me and my mutt dog be.

Why get nasty about it..
You post on a thread about a dog getting put down.....about how you snuff out mutts and you don't understand why people flame you.

And then he claims I was the one to get nasty.
Clearly a review of his posts on this thread show who was the nasty one.
And the word is "heresy"

I will say that animal control is something that DOES need to be put into control.
However, to disparage ALL mutts based on the bias you have with regards to where you live is not fair to those of us who devote our time and resources to finding homes for abandoned pets such as the ones I have had my entire life.
I am a responsible pet owner, have had all my adoptions spayed or neutered, and have done the same for any "MUTTS" I helped family members and friends adopt.
Some people have the money/desires for purebreads and that is fine....I don't begrudge them one bit.
I have a very soft spot for those who aren't "Cute" enough to be given a loving home.
My last two adoptees were just about the ugliest hounds at the rescue shelter...Miss Minnie had to be put down a year ago last June, after giving me 13 years of unconditional love, companionship and devotion.
Now I have a new ugly mutt named Daisy...she's needed alot of training, but is very smart and had learned quickly and loves every member of my family unconditionally, just like Minnie did.
