He won't get 5% this time around. He'll get more like 0.05%.Dean had the left wing of the Democrats fired up. He has also brought in a lot of new "Deanie babies". Dean and Kucinich got a combined 40% of the Maine primary vote, I believe. A lot of Dems appear to want someone less "establishment" than Kerry. Ralph ought to be able to scoop up some of those votes.

Glad to make your day.....It's a slow afternoon. :) I just find it funny that DU's so out of control that it's causing filters to automatically block it.

Seldom am I stalwart enough to visit that place.
Though separated by miles of electrons, I find myself heading to the shower to cleanse myself whenever I do so. ;)

Everyone make sure you find out where to sign up in your state to get Nader on the ballot. He'll need thousands in each state. Get out! Make the effort and get him on the ballot. Go to liberal websites and talk about how Kerry/Edwards is Bush-lite and how we need to send a message to the Democrat Party that they can't ignore we "true progressives". Work! Work! Work! This is the place and the time is now.

I disagree about Nader being more irrelevant. He can come out full force for gay marriage, all war and military stinks all the time-- he will not attempt to look moderate as Kerry will (try) for the swing/union vote. Nader could campaign in highly liberal areas like SF, Boston, even LA, where bumper stickers for Kucinich and Dean are still all over the place.
Hey DU FREAKs, DNC sycophants, and Liberal Lurkers, Check it out! We're Having FUNNNNNNNN!!!!!! Get NADER on all 50 ballots.

The Greens have about 17,000 registered party members in Maine and had an outstanding year in 2002 (9% in the governor's race and won their first ever state House seat in Portland with 65%. They also did reasonably well in a few other seats.)
Nader got 6% here in 2000.
The Greens are becoming a bit of a force in Maine. Good for society, no, good for Republicans, yes!

The morons who would otherwise vote Nader are the very ones most consumed with beating Bush.Yes, but you are forgetting one thing. Because we control the legislative calendar in the Senate, we are going to make Kerry vote after Labor Day on the following:
a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage
a reduction in automotive CAFE standards
making the Bush tax cuts permanent
defense appropriations
circuit court judicial nominations
and many other issues he does not want to vote on
Either way Kerry votes, he loses. And he cannot duck these votes, or that becomes a huge issue. If he votes in favor of these, he alienates his base, some of which might then vote for Nader. If he votes no on these, he alienates the middle of the American electorate.
