I guess, then, you've torn out of your KJV the section of Holy Scripture, God's Word, spoken by Christ Himself in red letters, no less, wherein Christ forgave those who crucified Him.
There are also ample Scriptures wherein Christ forgave people who obviously knew their sins and before there was any evidence or hint of repentance or confession. The woman washing His feet was but one example.
Perhaps the attitude of the heart, as much Scripture indicates, is a key issue.
Read what Jesus says again. Compare and contrast: did Kerry know what he was doing? Does he now?
Dan
Kerry clearly knows to a degree--he's not a lobotomized total idiot regardless of how he acts--he must clearly know at some levels SOME of his Machiavellian manipulations; flip-flops; lies; deceptions; newsspeak; distortions; etc.
He seems to be oblivious regarding the larger war between good and evil--thinking he does well to attack authentic believers as well as the sovereignity of the USA vs the world government he supports so idiotically.
I suppose it's possible as some assert, that he's in active, knowing complicity with Shrillery et al in satanic black masses deliberately plotting the destruction and downfall not only of the USA but the world at large. But I'm reluctant to accuse him of such unless and until there's more incontrovertable evidece of such. Shrillery is easier to believe to be well into that given all the givens.
Nevertheless, regardless, it is in MY SPIRITUAL INTEREST *and* his that I forgive him and even Shrillery. IF there is any chance that my prayers will have more power toward their salvation or even 'merely' toward their being blocked in their evil efforts--prayers following and founded on earnest forgiveness before The Cross in brokenness and humility realizing I too am in my flesh terminally flawed--such prayers will have much more spiritual and tangible clout based on and in forgiveness of the objects of my prayers.
I know that from experience. I have found more than ample Scriptural support for the realities I and many I know have experienced in matters of forgiveness.
Dan:
Meanwhile, you might go back to the cupboard and take a good dose of getting-the-heck-over-yourself.
Yet again you show as much insight and awareness of my heart, mentality, motives and attitude as you show regarding forgiveness and related Scriptures--i.e.--not near enough to write home about. From my reading of your posts over the many months, years, that line appears more like projection than anything else, IMhO.
