This is the United States of America and we do have freedom of speech in this country. No, this is the conservative news forum Free Republic and there's no such thing as "freedom of speech" on a privately run website. I happen to think the mods go overboard at times in eliminating "unpopular" comments, but it's their right and I accept it.

What is a Troll?Anyone joining a message board community only five days ago -- and then having the unmitigated chutzpah to launch into a schoolmarm-ish, finger-wagging lecture as to how they're all the ones misbehaving -- would, in my considered opinion, legitimately qualify for "trollhood."

This is an attempt to enforce censorship or pressure someone not to express themselves.
It is Jim Robinson's website and he can edit anyone off. It is NOT censorship, he is not government and this ain't public property.

I would like to say to the Troll Patrol that this in not the old USSR or Nazi Germany in the 40's. This is the United States of America and we do have freedom of speech in this country.
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
This is a private website, no Congress Critters making law that I have been able to locate.
Got it. What a private owner does with their website is up to them, and them alone.
However you may:
petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
but you may find them abit slow to move for Congress shall make no law ...
Got it figured out yet?

What is a Troll???? I was taught as a young child that a troll is a hideous creature that live under a bridge that wants to harm children. And you've never opened a dictionary since, right?

Think Helen Thomas. Think Madaline Albright.
On second thought, don't.
