"The crowd was really enthusiastic, it just makes you proud to be an American when you see all of these young people so overjoyed to see their Commander in Chief>" Just think what the country would be like if President Bush got just a fair shake, not even the spin in his favor that X42 got. The evening radio ABC news mentioned his trip to the base. I guess they couldn't find a 5 second sound bite without cheering voices in the background so they skipped that part.
I think that President Bush spent 2 whole years on active duty, longer than most draftees. The Rats want people to think that he did almost nothing, practically never even showed up for drills. The Alabama time was when the war was winding down.

This is old news, just an urban legend now. Bush needs to stop feeding the story by letting it drop.
