"
Your correct.......this was planted on a web blog about two weeks ago by someone connected to the Clark camp."
Are you referring to this here?

"We appreciate the way Senator Kerry has handled the situation, and intend on voting for him for president of the United States." From calling him a 'sleaze ball' to voting for Kerry.
Hmmmmm...
So what happened here?

I hope you are right...but check out vietnamveteransagainstjohnkerry.com where a number of vets have emailed/commented. Pretty nasty stuff. Sounds like they are really anger - but not at John Kerry!
To: Beck_isright
Plenty, I imagine. BTW, their statement reads like it was written by an attorney -- probably one working for Kerry.

..it took so long for a denial because a price had to be reached...I bet Ta-ray-sa is a hard negotiator.

I'll bet their stock portfolio has a healthy amount of Heinz & Co. stock in it now...
And somebody's got ketchup stains ALL OVER their dress.

If we keep harping on this the DemoncrRATS and mediaRATS will (if the haven't already) start saying, Bush is desperate, he doesn't have a record to run on so his minions are resorting to smear tactics and dirty campaigning. There are SO many legitimate reasons NOT to vote for Kerry, why waste time and energy on something that may or may not be true? Last thing I want is Joe public feeling sorry for Kerry...

Was it the Sun who interviewed the parents? Now that we have a denial, we need to know more how the British press is getting their information. What reporter interviewed the Polier's parents? If the Sun can provide proof of an interview it would torpedo the denials.

"We need to be careful here........this could be a set up to discredit the right"
Possibly, but it wasn't the right that broke the story. Weasly Clark blew his guts about an intern, and Drudge isn't a member of the right by any means.
To: Uncle Hal
Where did the 'sleaseball' comment come from? A British tabloid? Why in the world should anyone believe that?
To: G.Mason
Thats it.
Now look at this from that blog.
Could this create a Democratic backlash against Republicans for perceived scandalmongering?
See who is getting the blame......and no one had even heard about the story yet.

The denial story that is.

If we keep harping on this Excuse me. Who is we ? Exactly who is harping on this besides Drudge and a few FReepers?
To: Southack
"This story was a setup from moment one, and Drudge (as well as others) fell for it.
There will be more of these traps laid for us in the future, too."
BS. Drudge reported one what the press was talking about in private.
It was put out by Chris Lehane to hurt Kerry. But the fact that the press was investigating it in itself was newsworthy.
I've read where the Hanoi Kerry connection was put out by Carl Rove. I guess you believe that too.

Rush just said that now he know his response to the USA Today reporter who called to get his reaction to the Ms Polier denial:
"This just opens more questions." PRICELESS!!

She says the stories are "false." I think that is a denial from her.
I guess you slept through the whole Clinton- Monica thing. Remember, even perjury doesn't count if it's "only about sex". Thanks to Clinton any statement that doesn't involve specifics ( ie what rumors exactly, definition of relationship, employment, definition of affair, definition of sex, hell definition of "is"), isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
