I think the message is pretty clear - if you are a man, don't get any kind of job working with kids. Have nothing to with them.

"I regret what happened to Mr. Fry. I don't have any problem with how this has come out," Dunnings said. "We would have been remiss in our duties to not take action."

Calling Fry the real victim of the case, Dunnings said at a Friday news conference that the girl's story was "totally concocted (and) totally fabricated."

The girl could be charged as a juvenile in the family court system, where she would face detention, probation, $150 in fines, community service, having to write an apology and wearing an electronic tether.

Whether the girl will be charged depends on deputies' future interviews with her Internet friend, whose identity Dunnings would not reveal.

The girl and her friend need to charged "We would be remiss in our duties to not take action."

The student should be expelled from school and some sort of restitution paid to the teacher.

The girl should be expelled and held up to public ridicule.

I don't care if she is a special ed kid or not. What she did was evil!

"I regret that she lied to us," Wriggelsworth said. "We spent a lot of capital on this."

Money? What about the torture they put the teacher through? The embarrassment? The expense to the teacher. I'd sue!

"The witch hunt of the New Millenium..."

The witch hunt of the Old Millinium, too.

...eh?

Emery said Fry wants to return to Leslie High School, where he earns $58,381 a year.

Dude, I am totally in the wrong profession.

Instead, I think they are more often than not the younger criminal element, as this girl has so aptly demonstrated.

The "behaviorally challenged" are included in "special education". These are the kids who in my day would have been in reform school.

Yes, exactly. Instead now the school keeps them in their own lockup, knowing they get over $6000 a year to babysit them.

Sounds pretty advanced for special-ed!

It used to be fairly common for low-wage/welfare moms to get their kids to 'act-out' in school enough to get into special ed. Then an easy trip down to the Social Security office for some supplemental income, about $650/month. Don't know if that still happens or not.

My sarcastic response referring to the revelation that the student(s) lied is "This is a shocker."

There is no telling the damage done to this mans life, all because of a lie. I am sure his education career is finished, not because of what he did, but because of what has already been said about him. He is 'damaged goods' and will most likely not be able to get another teaching job.

How many more lives need to be destroyed before America realizes that we have taken a wrong turn? Political Correctness demands that we take every acusation as truth, that men (especially WHITE men) are the enemies to all human kind.

Shouldn't people/youths that take malicious actions like this have their pictures printed in the local newspaper? Only in a perfect world. Probation? $150 Fine? I can only imagine what crime this excuse for a human is capable of next. This will probably be expunged from her record when she turns 21 and I'll bet she knew that too.
