For the umpteenth time, read the FrontPageMag exposé:
Teresa Heinz Kerry: Bag Lady for the Radical Left
The chick has gotten her hands on about $2 Billion [about $750 Million from the inheritance, and about $1.2 Billion in the Heinz charitable trust, of which she's CEO], and she's using it to finance some truly evil people all over the world.

Yes contact was eventually made with a friend of Alex's after I posted the original story. I'm afraid I can't divulge the identity or location of that friend, other than to say it was a pal of hers who knew her from the States.
To: propertius
Is Alex going to come forward and confirm or deny this story? Also what about this "much nastier" bit?
Keep up the good work.

hey guys, thanks for all the messages of support.
I'm now trying to get back onto the trail after a bit of a pause for some valentine's day mollification.
No news yet from Kenya. Rumours are that Alex may have been moved to a coastal resort or house near Mombasa -- that's about 300 miles from Nairobi, and means the press pack will find it tougher to track her down.

Just heard from a friend of Alex's that
"this thing has a long way to run... it's much nastier than it sounds"... 40 posted on 02/14/2004 6:14:12 AM EST by propertius

'This won't go away. What happened is much nastier than is being reported'...
Stay safe, propertius!

Teresa not there? I have the TV on, but Kerry is so utterly repellent, I automatically tune out when his name comes up. Did any of the media note that she was not among those present?

It's 24 hrs. later and you've apparently done some excellent work. I hope that you and others in a position to do serious digging on this will keep the pressure on. My congratulations. The story will not break into the mainstream until someone talks on the record or some notable evidence surfaces.

Thanks for keeping us up to date.
I'm not really sure if I care about Kerry's bimbo problems or not. Half of Congress are probably leacherous scoundrels.
The thing that gets me about this story is the way the lady is hiding out. What for if there's "no there there?" Is it more than just an affair? As I said that's probably half of Congress. The public knows our pols are no saints but they vote for them anyway.
An affair is ho hum these days. A big so what to at least half of America. Maybe Alex is just the tip of the iceberg. Maybe there's more to the story.

Good work, propertius.

You are totally correct on Teresa and her marriage with John Heinz. I worked for her for a while. She was never presumptuous, never, ever acted like she was of a higher level, and I never saw any political leaning, especially to the left. She was a darling, and yes, very beautiful, and her marriage with John Heinz was truely one of real love.
By the way, for all those who thinks she's a far left enviro whacko, the ones who are using environmental warnings to hinder capitalism............she has continually made speeches where she said, "see "global problems" as "global opportunities," to remember that environmentalism and commerce need not be mutually exclusive". She is a very wise lady.

Nor this morning.
I haven't seen her since Thursday, before the story broke on Drudge. I hope this is significant. It is my opinion from knowing Teresa, that she won't take any bull, and SHE just might be the first person to expose this story........ by her own behavior.......leaving Lurch.
I certainly hope so.

Don't doubt your first hand accounts of her persona when you knew her, my observations are based strictly on reading the current image she presents. (Although, if the extent of your 'knowing her' is comprised of seeing her at public events, or even social hob-nobbing, the value of your testimony is very minimal also.) Actors and actresses abound, and public persona is frequently far from the real animal..
Obviously very intelligent, attractive, well preserved, spoiled, impatient, as evidenced by bored looks on face, and squirming as she waits for Kerry to finish his speeches..
m-s-r..I read it!!!!!!!!!!!!

and public persona is frequently far from the real animal..I spend all moments of the day with her.
Some people know people from spending time with them, and some don't. Let's just see what happens from here.

To: 60 Miles North
LOL!!! No, I just worked with her in a way that I saw her at all hours of the day. She's personally a very kind person, not like Hillary, not that you brought it up!
I'm watching Barney Fwank......beautiful. LOL!
