Not really. Back when international phone calls were 1 dollar per minute, a common scam was for someone at the airport to peek over someone's shoulder, get their calling card info and within a few minutes, about 20 pablos in brooklyn were happily making phone calls.
And this operation was a heck of lot harder than using a middle man to facilitate wire transfers.
You and the rest of the hillary socialists, totally underestimate the inventiveness, creativity and power of the free market.
