Just like old times. Read it and remind yourself that, if not for a DNA-stained dress, this pathetic shill would be telling the world that the MonicaGate was a "pack of right-wing lies."

So Conason thinks Clark - who leaked the story - is part of the vast right-wing conspiracy?
Drudge clearly states his sources are at least three who were in the Clark meeting. I've seen worse sourced stories in the so-called mainstream press.
You know you've got 'em when they start to squeal.

Conason is about the last person who should be questioning anybody else's journalistic standards because he forfeited any he may ever have had by prostituting himself to the Xlowntoon administration for eight years.

"There he goes again! Matt Drudge & the GOP smear machine are back in the Democrats' pants. Two points here. First. It was a Democrat that leaked this story in the first place. Second. The only thing in a Democrat's pants is brown and smelly. And no Republican put it there.
To: Timesink
Translation: We can smear, but you can't, because we are the holy chosen ones up here on the mountaintop high above you pathetic worthless peons.

Great stuff!
It's so easy to envision that familiar old "please-don't-beat-me-up-if-you-do-I'll-tell-the-teacher-on-you-Debbie" look on Conason's face as he pounds his keyboard in another phony fit of indignation. What a mouse.

Of the few people I despise, Joe Conason is one of them. High on the list, actually.

Uh, Joe, this is coming from Democrats, not Republicans.
To: Timesink
The second is the identity of his anonymous sources. So what's this? One reporter/journalist wanting another one to give up his sources?
To: Timesink
Monica story was ignored too and it was true.

Drudge clearly states his sources are at least three who were in the Clark meeting. Yep, and even our intrepid media might guess where Clark got his info.
But! Will Kerry & Ketchup take it like the HillBillies did with Jennifer Flowers in 1992? Or will Teresa send John to the Mayo Clinic?

PLEASE, JOE, climb back under your rock. Next, we will have Gene Lyons writing smut for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette claiming their is no blue dress (Thank you, Linda Tripp). Oh, I forgot, that has already happened!
I understand that Hillary Clinton and the IMPEACHED President are still faxing you two articles.

Bet he had to put some ice on it:)
To: Timesink
Conason ignores the multiple confirmations of the Clark anecdote. He must, otherwise his entire argument collapses.
To: Timesink
Conason is a putz. Another creep who came onto my show and called the calles "Nazis" while peddling his book defending Klintoon.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out this is coming from RATS. Look at the timing. If it were the VRC why release it until Kerry has already gotten the nomination? You can make a good case for Edwards being a tougher opponent than Kerry. Why clear the decks for Edwards? Drudge has a history of getting leaks from RATS during their primary race.
BTW, it's pretty sad when you need bailout money from "Rolling Stone" in order to stay in buisness. This crap is why Salon is on life support.

The only exception, so far, is a daily newspaper in Scotland. That's a bald faced lie. In this thread I list the ones I've found so far- 7 papers. It is front page news on the UK Times- which is pretty much the major paper in the UK. Also the Telegraph and Sydney Morning Herald as well as the UK Herald.
