Every time The Great State of Texas puts another wild animal down I thank God for the steady courage and clarity of justice he has bestowed upon the men and women that review these cases.
God Bless Texas. Next.

"Warden, at this time I have no statement, sir," Bobby Ray Hopkins said when asked if he had a final statement. Warden; Well, we'll get back to you later then Bobby, have a good evening.

NEXT you say...... okay 2/17/2004... The following is on tap....... I'm disappointed there's not one scheduled for Valentines day. I'll be glad if California ever acheives the efficiency of Texas in carrying out the death penalty.

They have nine more scheduled out through 6/24/04. Some of them may get delayed by some last minute appeal....

The people of California really wanted to execute Kevin Cooper this week. As in so many other matters, the people of California were kept from their will by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, a FEDERAL Court.

How nice. Two in two days. If I had known I would have gone and annoyed the anti death penalty kooks that always protest in front of Texas A&M every time there is an execution.

I'll try to get a picture next time we nuke someone. Always funny when it is cold and they're freezing their butts off.

I wish the death penalty in this USA would support that the convicted get the same sentence as the victim. If the perpetrate stabbed his victim then he/she dies vie stab wounds.

Always funny when it is cold and they're freezing their butts off. So where do they protest? I can't imagine they'd want to protest on the Quad.

They usually stand out in front of TAMU's main entrance at the intersection of New Main Dr. and Texas Ave. Across Texas Ave. from campus is the ugly looking piece of art that the city put up and they stand next to it.

Actually death row for the men has been moved to the Polunksy Unit which is East of Huntsville near Livingston. I assume that is where the executions now take place.
Unit Location: 5 miles southwest of Livingston on FM 350 in Polk County
