I have a couple of minutes before my computer heats up too much...
I am *very strongly* in favor of righteous minded people serving in public office. I can't tell you how strongly in favor of that I am. I fully support (at least in words, and hopefully with money) rightminded candidates such as Alan Keyes, and Mike Gabbard in Hawaii. The more rightminded individuals run for office and succeed, the more this country has a chance.
But putting children in public screwels is a whole 'nother thing. Children need protection from leftist, hedonist, atheist, homo-jihadi indoctrination. Gov't schools are nothing more than educational indoctrination centers. Putting kids in schools is nothing more than sending them to a spiritual slaughter house.
But adults? It is our DUTY to do whatever we can - large or small - to save our country and indeed, the world, from the jihadis of all stripes.

My wife and I are both 49 and have NO intention of having any more children. We also have NO intention of giving up the pleasure of sex, which is one way we express our love for each other. Are you seriously suggesting we do so?
Friends of ours had a child by artificial means because they couldn't so otherwise. Are you seriously suggesting they would be better off childless? If so, that's pretty sick.
A very quick response - the extremist homosexuals that you seem to consider fringe are the leaders, the savants, the visionaries of the "gay" rights movement. The spokespeople who go on TV and are interviewed for public consumption consciously preserve a "mainstream" appearance and demeanor - no flamers, no leather studded jockstraps, no butch women with facial hair, etc. And they purposely keep their message falsely toned down, asking for merely "equality".
But if you read what they write for "in house" consumption, check out footage of "Gay Pride" parades, and read what they consistenly engage in as well as consider a legitimate lifestyle (for instance, in Britain homosexuals have demanded to be allowed to practice cruising for anonymous sex in public bathrooms as part of their culture), and, worst of all, their use of public schools as indoctrination and recruitment centers - I think you'll change your viewpoint.
Have you read "After the Ball" or the summary which has been posted on FR a lot? Or really checked out EdReform's and Scripter's links?
There's more info on FR about the homosexual agenda in one place, than anywhere else on the internet.
In this issue, more and more, we have to be on one side or the other. And the other side fights dirty, and will fight dirtier before it's over.

Are you Christian? Because if you're not Christian, I'm sure you're within your rights to sterilize yourselves, have abortions, use abortifacient birth control or whatever pesticide you deem best for preventing human life so that you can enjoy the Evolutionary Advance of Modern Man that is non-procreative sex.

Are there no children left in China, the former Soviet Union or the United States to adopt? You get a fat $10,000 tax cut if you shop for kids at one of the current or former communist countries, you know.
I'm sure that the children they had to sacrifice (unless, of course, some "humanitarian" snapped them up for stem cell research) were well worth the trouble of obtaining with a for-profit sex partner the Child they had a Right to Have.
You can thank your friends, by the way, for paving the way for the homosexual "right" to have kids. I'm sure God didn't intend homosexuals to be "better off" childless simply because their sexual relations do not produce offspring either.
P.S. all that said, heartening to hear that two 49-year olds have no intention of giving up sex.

All wars have specific battles that will determine the outcome of the war.
Same sex marriage is the battle that will win or lose the culture war as a whole. The majority of Americans are against sodomarriage and we need to keep it that way.
By fighting and defeating the homo-agenda more people come to realize that other battles of the culture war can be won as well. Christians and Conservatives alike combined had record turnout at the polls this year and "moral issues" were the #1 motivation for that.
That my FRiends is a good sign. The truth is getting out despite the efforts of the leftist groups and the left wing propaganda machine (MSM)

Thanks. Since I wrote the original rant, a lot of stuff has happened, good and bad.
Now the "gay" rights people are freaking out, since the sodomarriage (that's a good word) referenda fail wherever they're tried.
They're rushing screaming to the courts, naturally. I don't think us conservatives and people in general who do not favor perverting marriage will take kindly to giving up our rule of law to activist leftist judges.
The more the masks come of leftists of all stripes, especially homo-activists who are among the worst of the worst, the better. It may help some sleeping people awaken.

Many people are living a lie. They have bought the lie that there are no moral absolutes, that whatever they think and feel is good just because it popped into their minds. They worship their own desires as idols who must be served. They have given up on understanding the deep truths that are taught in every monotheist religion in the history of the world.
They are self-centered, interested mostly in personal gratification and the gratification of those who they have interest in. When people are intoxicated by absorption in the crudest sort of self-interest, unrestrained and unenlightened by any spiritual values, we see a society fast devolving into worse than animal existence.
The solution? I don't know. But those of us who see the light have to try our best, and pray to God for help.

Many of us feel like you, many of us scream like you. When I see that I THANK YOU, because it's what I do silently every time I read about this evil.
I see more people hearing us now, but for years the number of hits GAY THREADS had could be counted on your fingers and toes. Many good Freepers like EdReform, scripter, and others did alot of work and didn't give up even though not many Freepers were listening about the threats to their children.
Thanks to the gays themselves for pushing their agenda vigorously in an election year the general public took notice. What we have been telling freepers all along, they can now see for themselves, and they have jumped on the bandwagon.
Let's keep screaming and doing what we can to protect our and everyone else's children from the pure evil knocking at the door.
