"And why did we have an evil Bubba in office? Because of so called "conservatives" who wanted to 'send a message', that's why."

We had an "evil" Bubba in office because George H. Bush's re-election campaign was run with all the energy and passion of a 15 year old bloodhound lying on a porch in 95 degree heat. He just plum didn't want it for another 4 years. Heck, so lackluster was his campaign that even the elfen Ross Perot had a shot if not for his vividly wacky imagination.

And then there was the final nail in his coffin -- Bush's surrendering to the RINO-Centrists by raising taxes after his famous "Read-My-Lips" pledge...

But anyway, if NOT for Bubba's infestation of the WH, we would not have had the GOP revolution which has led today to the Republican dominance in BOTH Houses, would we??

***While America is a nation of individuals, it depends on the ability of its people to see the good of the whole of society to continue to prosper.....and the future of this country......its very survival depends on getting President Bush reelected in November.***

YES! I don't think it would be too dramatic to say the future of the WORLD depends on President Bush protecting the WORLD against terror . . . which means being reelected in Nov.

IMO, it's not too dramatic. Ask the people in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Israel........

***I guess what I want is someone to explain why the Bush administration is wanting to dump conservative Christian voters. Anyone care to explain?***

WHY would you think that is their goal? President Bush has done one thing that no other president has done, that is DEFINITELY evidence of being a very conservative Christian--SIGNED the ban against Partial Birth Abortion.

He has also promised to maintain the sanctity of marriage of ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN--also a very conservative Christian stance.

My bet is that after he is elected in 2004 (God willing) he will work to pass even more Christian Conservative laws, etc., as he won't have to worry about reelection at all then. He has proven that he is not swayed by the pressure of people or polls in making decisions. He will NOT let us down.

***It's just that I'm always hearing that many of the key folks in Republican circles can't wait for the day they can do without our vote. ***

Where in the world did you hear this?? Which "key folks"? I follow the news pretty closely and have never heard anything like this. In fact, when I see President Bush attending events, meeting with people, and making speeches, I think it's pretty clear he values every vote, and in fact, EVERY SINGLE PERSON.

I would encourage you to consider watching FOX news and studying some articles on this site which present BOTH sides of the story, and maybe listen to some conservative radio talk shows, like Rush Limbaugh. (I'm sure other people here have other suggestions for books to read, talk shows to listen to, etc.)

When you have ALL the facts, make the decisions for yourself. But don't let vague rumors scare you.

Sounds like 4-5 million of those condescending conservatives will be staying home. Keep making them mad, so a few more stay home.

I'm calling your bluff. Stay home. Sit in your hands. Go off to your corner and sulk. Please! I'm tired of you, and your cohort's empty threats. You get your jollies every four years threatening to boycott the Republican Party. DO IT! Then we can all see how insignificant you and your ilk are in the American political landscape.

Frankly, I don't think George W. Bush and the Republicans are going to need your votes. If I were W, I wouldn't WANT your votes. I wouldn't want you to think that you gave him the winning margin, and that now he owes it to you to consider your self-centered, narrow political axes that you incessantly grind.

You're never going to vote for Bush, and I'm tired of the pleasure you guys get watching the rest of us try to reason with you. You've heard our reasons for voting for Bush, the justifications from CONSERVATIVE PRINCIPLES for re-electing him. None of this phases any of you. You people aren't conservatives; you're self-centered cranks who have an over-bloated sense of your own importance. You're clueless, feckless, useless and hopeless. I'm tried of your self-deluded sense of importance that the election outcomes rests on their sorry votes.

Sit it out. Please! And if we lose, well, we can spend the next four years rebuilding the base, but at least we'll be free of you nitwits!

I have no problem in agreeing that Bush 41 did not run an energetic campaign.

BUT, the fact remains that a third party split the vote and failed to get elected (as always).

Clinton was the worst thing that has happened to this country in modern times. His lackadasical approach contributed greatly to 9/11.

As a responsible voter I will not give Hanoi John the same opportunity.

People of honor are lifting this President up in prayer. People of dishonor are trying to tear him down. Enough said.
