First, in regards to President Bush's comment on "Meet the Press," a presidential candidate NEVER admits the possibility of defeat.
As I read through the Hannity and Colmes transcript, Keyes does not sound worried about the election. He said, "I think that the Republicans haven't yet begun to fight this election. Once the Democrat nominee is clear, we will, and then I think it's really not going to be a contest."
So to answer your question, I don't think he is worried, at least not publicly. I'm quite concerned that the base is not going to be there for the President when we desperately need to see President Bush re-elected.

" Bzactly. I intend to criticize Bush's errors (Medicare socialism), and support him to the hilt. We are fighting for civilization, and must win at virtually any cost. "
EXACTLY! Ditto this, its a worldwide fight and GWB has earned the benefit of doubt.
